⁵⁸ Therefore my beloued brethren, be ye stedfast, vnmoueable, aboundant alwayes in the worke of the Lord, forasmuch as ye knowe that your labour is not in vaine in the Lord.

¹⁸ Whe she saw that she was stedfastly minded to go with her, she left speaking vnto her.

⁷ Be ye strong therefore, and let not your handes be weake: for your worke shall haue a rewarde.

¹¹ Moreouer by them is thy seruant made circumspect, and in keeping of them there is great reward.

²² Cast thy burden vpon the Lord, and hee shall nourish thee: he wil not suffer the righteous to fall for euer.

¹³ Certainely I haue clensed mine heart in vaine, and washed mine hands in innocencie.

⁸ And not to bee as their fathers, a disobedient and rebellious generation: a generation that set not their heart aright, and whose spirite was not faithfull vnto God.

³⁷ For their heart was not vpright with him: neither were they faithfull in his couenant.

⁶ Surely he shall neuer be moued: but the righteous shalbe had in euerlasting remembrance.

⁴⁰ He that receiueth you, receiueth me: and hee that receiueth mee, receiueth him that hath sent me. ⁴¹ Hee that receiueth a Prophet in the name of a Prophet, shall receiue a Prophetes rewarde: and hee that receiueth a righteous man, in the name of a righteous man, shall receiue the rewarde of a righteous man. ⁴² And whosoeuer shall giue vnto one of these litle ones to drinke a cuppe of colde water onely, in the name of a disciple, verely I say vnto you, he shall not lose his rewarde.

³¹ And when the Sonne of man commeth in his glory, and all the holy Angels with him, then shall he sit vpon the throne of his glorie, ³² And before him shalbe gathered all nations, and he shall seperate them one from another, as a shepheard separateth the sheepe from ye goates. ³³ And he shall set the sheepe on his right hand, and the goates on the left. ³⁴ Then shall ye king say to them on his right hand, Come ye blessed of my father: take the inheritance of the kingdome prepared for you from the foundation of the world. ³⁵ For I was an hungred, and ye gaue me meate: I thirsted, and ye gaue me drinke: I was a stranger, and ye tooke me in vnto you. ³⁶ I was naked, and ye clothed me: I was sicke, and ye visited me: I was in prison, and ye came vnto me. ³⁷ Then shall the righteous answere him, saying, Lord, when sawe we thee an hungred, and fed thee? or a thirst, and gaue thee drinke? ³⁸ And when sawe we thee a stranger, and tooke thee in vnto vs? or naked, and clothed thee? ³⁹ Or when sawe we thee sicke, or in prison, and came vnto thee? ⁴⁰ And the King shall answere, and say vnto them, Verely I say vnto you, in as much as ye haue done it vnto one of the least of these my brethre, ye haue done it to me.

²⁸ Then sayde they vnto him, What shall we doe, that we might worke the workes of God? ²⁹ Iesus answered, and sayde vnto them, This is the woorke of God, that yee beleeue in him, whome he hath sent.

⁸ And he that planteth, and he that watreth, are one, and euery man shall receiue his wages, according to his labour.

¹⁰ Nowe if Timotheus come, see that he be without feare with you: for he worketh the worke of the Lord, euen as I doe.

¹ Seing then we haue these promises, dearely beloued, let vs clense our selues from all filthinesse of the flesh and spirit, and finish our sanctification in the feare of God.

¹¹ I am in feare of you, lest I haue bestowed on you labour in vaine.

⁹ Let vs not therefore be weary of well doing: for in due season we shall reape, if we faint not.

⁹ And this I pray, that your loue may abound, yet more and more in knowledge, and in all iudgement,

¹¹ Filled with the fruites of righteousnesse, which are by Iesus Christ vnto the glorie and praise of God.

¹⁶ Holding forth the worde of life, that I may reioyce in the day of Christ, that I haue not runne in vaine, neither haue laboured in vaine.

³⁰ Because that for the woorke of Christ he was neere vnto death, and regarded not his life, to fulfill that seruice which was lacking on your part towarde me.

¹⁷ Not that I desire a gift: but I desire the fruit which may further your reckoning.

²³ If ye continue, grounded and stablished in the faith, and be not moued away from the hope of the Gospel, whereof ye haue heard, and which hath bene preached to euery creature which is vnder heauen, whereof I Paul am a minister.

⁵ For though I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit, reioycing and beholding your order, and your stedfast faith in Christ.

⁷ Rooted and built in him, and stablished in the faith, as ye haue bene taught, abouding therein with thankesgiuing.

³ Without ceasing, remembring your effectuall faith, and diligent loue, and the patience of your hope in our Lord Iesus Christ, in the sight of God euen our Father,

³ That no man should be moued with these afflictions: for ye your selues knowe, that we are appointed thereunto.

⁵ Euen for this cause, when I could no longer forbeare, I sent him that I might knowe of your faith, lest the tempter had tempted you in any sort, and that our labour had bene in vaine.

¹² And the Lord increase you, and make you abound in loue one toward another, and towarde all men, euen as we doe toward you:

¹ And furthermore we beseeche you, brethren, and exhort you in the Lord Iesus, that ye increase more and more, as ye haue receiued of vs, how ye ought to walke, and to please God.

³ We ought to thanke God alwayes for you, brethren, as it is meete, because that your faith groweth exceedingly, and the loue of euery one of you toward another, aboundeth,

¹⁴ Who gaue him selfe for vs, that hee might redeeme vs from all iniquitie, and purge vs to bee a peculiar people vnto himselfe, zealous of good woorkes.

¹⁴ For we are made partakers of Christ, if we keepe sure vnto the ende that beginning, wherewith we are vpholden,

¹⁰ For God is not vnrighteous, that hee should forget your worke, and labour of loue, which ye shewed toward his Name, in that ye haue ministred vnto the Saints, and yet minister.

¹⁵ Let vs therefore by him offer the sacrifice of prayse alwaies to God, that is, the fruite of the lippes, which confesse his Name. ¹⁶ To doe good, and to distribute forget not: for with such sacrifices God is pleased.

²¹ Make you perfect in all good workes, to doe his will, working in you that which is pleasant in his sight through Iesus Christ, to whom be praise for euer and euer, Amen.

⁴ Whereby most great and precious promises are giuen vnto vs, that by them ye should be partakers of the diuine nature, in that ye flee the corruption, which is in the worlde through lust. ⁵ Therefore giue euen all diligence thereunto: ioyne moreouer vertue with your faith: and with vertue, knowledge: ⁶ And with knowledge, temperance: and with temperance, patience: and with patience, godlines: ⁷ And with godlines, brotherly kindnes: and with brotherly kindnes, loue. ⁸ For if these things be among you, and abound, they will make you that ye neither shalbe idle, nor vnfruitfull in the acknowledging of our Lord Iesus Christ: ⁹ For he that hath not these things, is blinde, and can not see farre off, and hath forgotten that he was purged from his olde sinnes.

¹⁴ Wherefore, beloued, seeing that yee looke for such thinges, be diligent that ye may be found of him in peace, without spot and blamelesse.

¹⁷ Ye therefore beloued, seeing ye know these thinges before, beware, lest ye be also plucked away with the errour of the wicked, and fall from your owne stedfastnesse. ¹⁸ But grow in grace, and in the knowledge of our Lord and Sauiour Iesus Christ: to him be glory both now and for euermore. Amen.
