⁹ There shall no strange god be in thee; neither shalt thou worship any strange god.

³ Thou shalt have none other gods before me. ⁴ Thou shalt not make unto thee a graven image, nor [the likeness of] any form that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: ⁵ thou shalt not bow down thyself unto them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children, upon the third and upon the fourth generation of them that hate me;

¹⁴ Ye shall not go after other gods, of the gods of the peoples which are round about you;

¹² The LORD alone did lead him, And there was no strange god with him.

²⁰ If we have forgotten the name of our God, or spread forth our hands to a strange god;

¹² I have declared, and I have saved, and I have shewed, and there was no strange [god] among you: therefore ye are my witnesses, saith the LORD, and I am God.

¹¹ Judah hath dealt treacherously, and an abomination is committed in Israel and in Jerusalem; for Judah hath profaned the holiness of the LORD which he loveth, and hath married the daughter of a strange god.

⁵ For though there be that are called gods, whether in heaven or on earth; as there are gods many, and lords many; ⁶ yet to us there is one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him; and one Lord, Jesus Christ, through whom are all things, and we through him.
