⁹ The meek will he guide in judgment: and the meek will he teach his way.

²⁶ The meek shall eat and be satisfied: they shall praise the LORD that seek after him: let your heart live for ever.

³ He restoreth my soul: he guideth me in the paths of righteousness for his name’s sake.

¹¹ Teach me thy way, O LORD; and lead me in a plain path, because of mine enemies.

⁸ I will instruct thee and teach thee in the way which thou shalt go: I will counsel thee with mine eye upon thee. ⁹ Be ye not as the horse, or as the mule, which have no understanding: whose trappings must be bit and bridle to hold them in, [else] they will not come near unto thee.

²⁴ Thou shalt guide me with thy counsel, and afterward receive me to glory.

³⁵ Make me to go in the path of thy commandments; for therein do I delight.

⁶⁶ Teach me good judgment and knowledge; for I have believed in thy commandments.

¹⁰ Teach me to do thy will; for thou art my God: thy spirit is good; lead me in the land of uprightness.

⁶ The LORD upholdeth the meek: he bringeth the wicked down to the ground.

⁴ For the LORD taketh pleasure in his people: he will beautify the meek with salvation.

⁵ Trust in the LORD with all thine heart, and lean not upon thine own understanding: ⁶ In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.

²⁰ I walk in the way of righteousness, in the midst of the paths of judgment:

⁴ but with righteousness shall he judge the poor, and reprove with equity for the meek of the earth: and he shall smite the earth with the rod of his mouth, and with the breath of his lips shall he slay the wicked.

¹ Behold my servant, whom I uphold; my chosen, in whom my soul delighteth: I have put my spirit upon him; he shall bring forth judgment to the Gentiles. ² He shall not cry, nor lift up, nor cause his voice to be heard in the street. ³ A bruised reed shall he not break, and the smoking flax shall he not quench: he shall bring forth judgment in truth.

¹ The spirit of the Lord GOD is upon me; because the LORD hath anointed me to preach good tidings unto the meek; he hath sent me to bind up the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives, and the opening [of the prison] to them that are bound;

¹⁹ And I will give them one heart, and I will put a new spirit within you; and I will take the stony heart out of their flesh, and will give them an heart of flesh: ²⁰ that they may walk in my statutes, and keep mine ordinances, and do them: and they shall be my people, and I will be their God.

²⁷ And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them.

³ Seek ye the LORD, all ye meek of the earth, which have wrought his judgment; seek righteousness, seek meekness: it may be ye shall be hid in the day of the LORD’S anger.

⁵ Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth.

⁶ Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me.

² and asked of him letters to Damascus unto the synagogues, that if he found any that were of the Way, whether men or women, he might bring them bound to Jerusalem.

²⁰ by the way which he dedicated for us, a new and living way, through the veil, that is to say, his flesh;

²¹ Wherefore putting away all filthiness and overflowing of wickedness, receive with meekness the implanted word, which is able to save your souls.

⁴ but [let it be] the hidden man of the heart, in the incorruptible [apparel] of a meek and quiet spirit, which is in the sight of God of great price.

¹⁵ but sanctify in your hearts Christ as Lord: [being] ready always to give answer to every man that asketh you a reason concerning the hope that is in you, yet with meekness and fear:
