⁶ Cast forth lightning, and scatter them; send out thine arrows, and discomfit them.

²³ I will heap mischiefs upon them; I will spend mine arrows upon them:

⁴² I will make mine arrows drunk with blood, And my sword shall devour flesh; With the blood of the slain and the captives, From the head of the leaders of the enemy.

¹² And he made darkness pavilions round about him, gathering of waters, thick clouds of the skies. ¹³ At the brightness before him coals of fire were kindled. ¹⁴ The LORD thundered from heaven, and the Most High uttered his voice. ¹⁵ And he sent out arrows, and scattered them; lightning, and discomfited them.

¹² If a man turn not, he will whet his sword; he hath bent his bow, and made it ready. ¹³ He hath also prepared for him the instruments of death; he maketh his arrows fiery [shafts].

¹³ The LORD also thundered in the heavens, and the Most High uttered his voice; hailstones and coals of fire. ¹⁴ And he sent out his arrows, and scattered them; yea, lightnings manifold, and discomfited them.

¹² For thou shalt make them turn their back, thou shalt make ready with thy bowstrings against the face of them.

⁵ Thine arrows are sharp; the peoples fall under thee; [they are] in the heart of the king’s enemies.

¹⁷ The clouds poured out water; the skies sent out a sound: thine arrows also went abroad. ¹⁸ The voice of thy thunder was in the whirlwind; the lightnings lightened the world: the earth trembled and shook.
