¹ [A Psalm off] David. Blessed be the LORD my rock, which teacheth my hands to war, [and] my fingers to fight:

³⁰ How should one chase a thousand, And two put ten thousand to flight, Except their Rock had sold them, And the LORD had delivered them up? ³¹ For their rock is not as our Rock, Even our enemies themselves being judges.

³⁵ He teacheth my hands to war; so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.

² The LORD is my rock, and my fortress, and my deliverer; my God, my strong rock, in him will I trust; my shield, and the horn of my salvation, my high tower.

³¹ For who is God, save the LORD? and who is a rock, beside our God?

³⁴ He teacheth my hands to war; so that mine arms do bend a bow of brass.

³ For they gat not the land in possession by their own sword, neither did their own arm save them: but thy right hand, and thine arm, and the light of thy countenance, because thou hadst a favour unto them. ⁴ Thou art my King, O God: command deliverance for Jacob.

¹² Through God we shall do valiantly: for he it is that shall tread down our adversaries.

³ Be thou to me a rock of habitation, whereunto I may continually resort: thou hast given commandment to save me; for thou art my rock and my fortress.

¹ O COME, let us sing unto the LORD: let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation.

⁴ Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in the LORD JEHOVAH is an everlasting rock.

²⁴ Only in the LORD, shall one say unto me, is righteousness and strength: even to him shall men come, and all they that were incensed against him shall be ashamed.

⁴ (for the weapons of our warfare are not of the flesh, but mighty before God to the casting down of strong holds);

¹⁰ Finally, be strong in the Lord, and in the strength of his might. ¹¹ Put on the whole armour of God, that ye may be able to stand against the wiles of the devil.
