¹² Many bulls have compassed me: strong bulls of Bashan have beset me round.

¹⁶ For dogs have compassed me: the assembly of evil-doers have enclosed me; they pierced my hands and my feet.

¹⁹ Consider mine enemies, for they are many; and they hate me with cruel hatred.

¹⁷ All this is come upon us; yet have we not forgotten thee, neither have we dealt falsely in thy covenant.

² Mine enemies would swallow me up all the day long: for they be many that fight proudly against me.

¹⁰ All nations compassed me about: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off. ¹¹ They compassed me about; yea, they compassed me about: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off. ¹² They compassed me about like bees; they are quenched as the fire of thorns: in the name of the LORD I will cut them off.

⁴ He shall not fail nor be discouraged, till he have set judgment in the earth; and the isles shall wait for his law.
