⁵ and the border shall turn about from Azmon unto the brook of Egypt, and the goings out thereof shall be at the sea.

¹⁸ In that day the LORD made a covenant with Abram, saying, Unto thy seed have I given this land, from the river of Egypt unto the great river, the river Euphrates:

⁶ And for the western border, ye shall have the great sea and the border [thereof]: this shall be your west border. ⁷ And this shall be your north border: from the great sea ye shall mark out for you mount Hor:

⁴ and it passed along to Azmon, and went out at the brook of Egypt; and the goings out of the border were at the sea: this shall be your south border.

⁴⁷ Ashdod, her towns and her villages; Gaza, her towns and her villages; unto the brook of Egypt, and the great sea, and the border [thereof].

⁶⁵ So Solomon held the feast at that time, and all Israel with him, a great congregation, from the entering in of Hamath unto the brook of Egypt, before the LORD our God, seven days and seven days, even fourteen days.
