³⁰ And behold, there are last which shall be first, and there are first which shall be last.

⁹ and think not to say within yourselves, We have Abraham to our father: for I say unto you, that God is able of these stones to raise up children unto Abraham. ¹⁰ And even now is the axe laid unto the root of the trees: every tree therefore that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.

¹¹ And I say unto you, that many shall come from the east and the west, and shall sit down with Abraham, and Isaac, and Jacob, in the kingdom of heaven: ¹² but the sons of the kingdom shall be cast forth into the outer darkness: there shall be the weeping and gnashing of teeth.

³⁰ But many shall be last [that are] first; and first [that are] last.

¹⁶ So the last shall be first, and the first last.

²⁸ But what think ye? A man had two sons; and he came to the first, and said, Son, go work today in the vineyard. ²⁹ And he answered and said, I will not: but afterward he repented himself, and went. ³⁰ And he came to the second, and said likewise.
