¹⁰ Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye be come into the land which I give unto you, and shall reap the harvest thereof, then ye shall bring the sheaf of the firstfruits of your harvest unto the priest:

²⁹ Thou shalt not delay to offer of the abundance of thy fruits, and of thy liquors. The firstborn of thy sons shalt thou give unto me.

¹⁶ and the feast of harvest, the firstfruits of thy labours, which thou sowest in the field: and the feast of ingathering, at the end of the year, when thou gatherest in thy labours out of the field.

²² And thou shalt observe the feast of weeks, [even] of the firstfruits of wheat harvest, and the feast of ingathering at the year’s end.

¹² As an oblation of first[fruits] ye shall offer them unto the LORD: but they shall not come up for a sweet savour on the altar. ¹³ And every oblation of thy meal offering shalt thou season with salt; neither shalt thou suffer the salt of the covenant of thy God to be lacking from thy meal offering: with all thine oblations thou shalt offer salt. ¹⁴ And if thou offer a meal offering of firstfruits unto the LORD, thou shalt offer for the meal offering of thy firstfruits corn in the ear parched with fire, bruised corn of the fresh ear. ¹⁵ And thou shalt put oil upon it, and lay frankincense thereon: it is a meal offering. ¹⁶ And the priest shall burn the memorial of it, part of the bruised corn thereof, and part of the oil thereof, with all the frankincense thereof: it is an offering made by fire unto the LORD.

³⁴ When ye be come into the land of Canaan, which I give to you for a possession, and I put the plague of leprosy in a house of the land of your possession;

¹⁷ Ye shall bring out of your habitations two wave loaves of two tenth parts [of an ephah]: they shall be of fine flour, they shall be baken with leaven, for firstfruits unto the LORD.

¹⁸ Speak unto the children of Israel, and say unto them, When ye come into the land whither I bring you, ¹⁹ then it shall be, that, when ye eat of the bread of the land, ye shall offer up an heave offering unto the LORD. ²⁰ Of the first of your dough ye shall offer up a cake for an heave offering: as ye do the heave offering of the threshing-floor, so shall ye heave it. ²¹ Of the first of your dough ye shall give unto the LORD an heave offering throughout your generations.

²⁶ Also in the day of the firstfruits, when ye offer a new meal offering unto the LORD in your [feast of] weeks, ye shall have an holy convocation; ye shall do no servile work:

⁹ Seven weeks shalt thou number unto thee: from the time thou beginnest to put the sickle to the standing corn shalt thou begin to number seven weeks.

¹⁵ and when they that bare the ark were come unto Jordan, and the feet of the priests that bare the ark were dipped in the brink of the water, (for Jordan overfloweth all its banks all the time of harvest,)

⁹ Honour the LORD with thy substance, and with the firstfruits of all thine increase: ¹⁰ So shall thy barns be filled with plenty, and thy vats shall overflow with new wine.

³⁰ And the first of all the firstfruits of every thing, and every oblation of every thing, of all your oblations, shall be for the priests: ye shall also give unto the priest the first of your dough, to cause a blessing to rest on thine house.

¹⁶ And if the firstfruit is holy, so is the lump: and if the root is holy, so are the branches.

²⁰ But now hath Christ been raised from the dead, the firstfruits of them that are asleep. ²¹ For since by man [came] death, by man [came] also the resurrection of the dead. ²² For as in Adam all die, so also in Christ shall all be made alive. ²³ But each in his own order: Christ the firstfruits; then they that are Christ’s, at his coming.

¹⁸ Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

⁴ These are they which were not defiled with women; for they are virgins. These [are] they which follow the Lamb whithersoever he goeth. These were purchased from among men, [to be] the firstfruits unto God and unto the Lamb.
