¹⁵ No longer do I call you servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I heard from my Father I have made known unto you.

¹⁷ And the LORD said, Shall I hide from Abraham that which I do; ¹⁸ seeing that Abraham shall surely become a great and mighty nation, and all the nations of the earth shall be blessed in him? ¹⁹ For I have known him, to the end that he may command his children and his household after him, that they may keep the way of the LORD, to do justice and judgment; to the end that the LORD may bring upon Abraham that which he hath spoken of him.

⁸ Now the king of Syria warred against Israel; and he took counsel with his servants, saying, In such and such a place shall be my camp. ⁹ And the man of God sent unto the king of Israel, saying, Beware that thou pass not such a place; for thither the Syrians are coming down. ¹⁰ And the king of Israel sent to the place which the man of God told him and warned him of; and he saved himself there, not once nor twice. ¹¹ And the heart of the king of Syria was sore troubled for this thing; and he called his servants, and said unto them, Will ye not shew me which of us is for the king of Israel? ¹² And one of his servants said, Nay, my lord, O king: but Elisha, the prophet that is in Israel, telleth the king of Israel the words that thou speakest in thy bedchamber.

¹⁴ The secret of the LORD is with them that fear him; and he will shew them his covenant.

⁷ Surely the Lord GOD will do nothing, but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets.

¹¹ And he answered and said unto them, Unto you it is given to know the mysteries of the kingdom of heaven, but to them it is not given.

²³ And turning to the disciples, he said privately, Blessed [are] the eyes which see the things that ye see:

¹⁹ The woman saith unto him, Sir, I perceive that thou art a prophet.

²⁶ I have many things to speak and to judge concerning you: howbeit he that sent me is true; and the things which I heard from him, these speak I unto the world.

²⁶ If any man serve me, let him follow me; and where I am, there shall also my servant be: if any man serve me, him will the Father honour.

¹⁶ Verily, verily, I say unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord; neither one that is sent greater than he that sent him.

²⁰ Remember the word that I said unto you, A servant is not greater than his lord. If they persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they kept my word, they will keep yours also.

⁶ I manifested thy name unto the men whom thou gavest me out of the world: thine they were, and thou gavest them to me; and they have kept thy word. ⁷ Now they know that all things whatsoever thou hast given me are from thee: ⁸ for the words which thou gavest me I have given unto them; and they received [them], and knew of a truth that I came forth from thee, and they believed that thou didst send me.

²⁶ and I made known unto them thy name, and will make it known; that the love wherewith thou lovedst me may be in them, and I in them.

¹⁷ Jesus saith to her, Touch me not; for I am not yet ascended unto the Father: but go unto my brethren, and say to them, I ascend unto my Father and your Father, and my God and your God.

²⁷ For I shrank not from declaring unto you the whole counsel of God.

²⁵ Now to him that is able to stablish you according to my gospel and the preaching of Jesus Christ, according to the revelation of the mystery which hath been kept in silence through times eternal, ²⁶ but now is manifested, and by the scriptures of the prophets, according to the commandment of the eternal God, is made known unto all the nations unto obedience of faith;

⁹ but as it is written, Things which eye saw not, and ear heard not, And [which] entered not into the heart of man, Whatsoever things God prepared for them that love him. ¹⁰ But unto us God revealed [them] through the Spirit: for the Spirit searcheth all things, yea, the deep things of God. ¹¹ For who among men knoweth the things of a man, save the spirit of the man, which is in him? even so the things of God none knoweth, save the Spirit of God. ¹² But we received, not the spirit of the world, but the spirit which is of God; that we might know the things that are freely given to us by God.

⁶ And because ye are sons, God sent forth the Spirit of his Son into our hearts, crying, Abba, Father.

⁹ having made known unto us the mystery of his will, according to his good pleasure which he purposed in him

⁵ which in other generations was not made known unto the sons of men, as it hath now been revealed unto his holy apostles and prophets in the Spirit;

²⁶ [even] the mystery which hath been hid from all ages and generations: but now hath it been manifested to his saints,

¹⁶ no longer as a servant, but more than a servant, a brother beloved, specially to me, but how much rather to thee, both in the flesh and in the Lord.
