¹³ Let no man say when he is tempted, I am tempted of God: for God cannot be tempted with evil, and he himself tempteth no man:

¹² And the man said, The woman whom thou gavest to be with me, she gave me of the tree, and I did eat.

¹⁷ O LORD, why dost thou make us to err from thy ways, and hardenest our heart from thy fear? Return for thy servants’ sake, the tribes of thine inheritance.

¹² Woe to him that buildeth a town with blood, and stablisheth a city by iniquity! ¹³ Behold, is it not of the LORD of hosts that the peoples labour for the fire, and the nations weary themselves for vanity?
