¹² Therefore will I divide him a portion with the great, and he shall divide the spoil with the strong; because he poured out his soul unto death, and was numbered with the transgressors: yet he bare the sin of many, and made intercession for the transgressors.

¹⁵ and I will put enmity between thee and the woman, and between thy seed and her seed: it shall bruise thy head, and thou shalt bruise his heel.

⁸ Ask of me, and I will give thee the nations for thine inheritance, and the uttermost parts of the earth for thy possession.

¹⁴ I am poured out like water, and all my bones are out of joint: my heart is like wax; it is melted in the midst of my bowels.

²⁴ Shall the prey be taken from the mighty, or the lawful captives be delivered? ²⁵ But thus saith the LORD, Even the captives of the mighty shall be taken away, and the prey of the terrible shall be delivered: for I will contend with him that contendeth with thee, and I will save thy children.

¹³ Behold, my servant shall deal wisely, he shall be exalted and lifted up, and shall be very high.

¹⁵ so shall he sprinkle many nations; kings shall shut their mouths at him: for that which had not been told them shall they see; and that which they had not heard shall they understand.

⁶ All we like sheep have gone astray; we have turned every one to his own way; and the LORD hath laid on him the iniquity of us all.

⁸ By oppression and judgment he was taken away; and as for his generation, who [among them] considered that he was cut off out of the land of the living? for the transgression of my people was he stricken.

¹⁰ Yet it pleased the LORD to bruise him; he hath put him to grief: when thou shalt make his soul an offering for sin, he shall see [his] seed, he shall prolong his days, and the pleasure of the LORD shall prosper in his hand. ¹¹ He shall see of the travail of his soul, [and] shall be satisfied: by his knowledge shall my righteous servant justify many: and he shall bear their iniquities.

⁴⁵ Forasmuch as thou sawest that a stone was cut out of the mountain without hands, and that it brake in pieces the iron, the brass, the clay, the silver, and the gold; the great God hath made known to the king what shall come to pass hereafter: and the dream is certain, and the interpretation thereof sure.

²⁸ But if I by the Spirit of God cast out devils, then is the kingdom of God come upon you. ²⁹ Or how can one enter into the house of the strong [man], and spoil his goods, except he first bind the strong [man]? and then he will spoil his house.

³⁸ Then saith he unto them, My soul is exceeding sorrowful, even unto death: abide ye here, and watch with me. ³⁹ And he went forward a little, and fell on his face, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if it be possible, let this cup pass away from me: nevertheless, not as I will, but as thou wilt.

⁴² Again a second time he went away, and prayed, saying, O my Father, if this cannot pass away, except I drink it, thy will be done.

²⁷ And with him they crucify two robbers; one on his right hand, and one on his left.

³⁷ For I say unto you, that this which is written must be fulfilled in me, And he was reckoned with transgressors: for that which concerneth me hath fulfillment.

²⁵ And he released him that for insurrection and murder had been cast into prison, whom they asked for; but Jesus he delivered up to their will.

³² And there were also two others, malefactors, led with him to be put to death. ³³ And when they came unto the place which is called The skull, there they crucified him, and the malefactors, one on the right hand and the other on the left. ³⁴ And Jesus said, Father, forgive them; for they know not what they do. And parting his garments among them, they cast lots.

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me.

³⁴ who is he that shall condemn? It is Christ Jesus that died, yea rather, that was raised from the dead, who is at the right hand of God, who also maketh intercession for us.

⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient [even] unto death, yea, the death of the cross. ⁹ Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven and [things] on earth and [things] under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.

¹⁷ Yea, and if I am offered upon the sacrifice and service of your faith, I joy, and rejoice with you all:

¹³ who delivered us out of the power of darkness, and translated us into the kingdom of the Son of his love; ¹⁴ in whom we have our redemption, the forgiveness of our sins:

¹⁵ having put off from himself the principalities and the powers, he made a show of them openly, triumphing over them in it.

⁵ For there is one God, one mediator also between God and men, [himself] man, Christ Jesus, ⁶ who gave himself a ransom for all; the testimony [to be borne] in its own times;

¹⁴ who gave himself for us, that he might redeem us from all iniquity, and purify unto himself a people for his own possession, zealous of good works.

¹⁴ Since then the children are sharers in flesh and blood, he also himself in like manner partook of the same; that through death he might bring to nought him that had the power of death, that is, the devil; ¹⁵ and might deliver all them who through fear of death were all their lifetime subject to bondage.

²⁵ Wherefore also he is able to save to the uttermost them that draw near unto God through him, seeing he ever liveth to make intercession for them.

²⁴ For Christ entered not into a holy place made with hands, like in pattern to the true; but into heaven itself, now to appear before the face of God for us:

²⁶ else must he often have suffered since the foundation of the world: but now once at the end of the ages hath he been manifested to put away sin by the sacrifice of himself.

²⁸ so Christ also, having been once offered to bear the sins of many, shall appear a second time, apart from sin, to them that wait for him, unto salvation.

² looking unto Jesus the author and perfecter of [our] faith, who for the joy that was set before him endured the cross, despising shame, and hath sat down at the right hand of the throne of God.

¹ My little children, these things write I unto you, that ye may not sin. And if any man sin, we have an Advocate with the Father, Jesus Christ the righteous:

¹² I write unto you, [my] little children, because your sins are forgiven you for his name’s sake.
