¹⁹ and to know the love of Christ which passeth knowledge, that ye may be filled unto all the fulness of God.

¹⁵ As for me, I shall behold thy face in righteousness: I shall be satisfied, when I awake, with thy likeness.

⁴ Then will I go unto the altar of God, unto God my exceeding joy: and upon the harp will I praise thee, O God, my God.

⁶ Blessed are they that hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.

¹⁶ For of his fulness we all received, and grace for grace.

³ And this is life eternal, that they should know thee the only true God, and him whom thou didst send, [even] Jesus Christ.

¹⁴ For the love of Christ constraineth us; because we thus judge, that one died for all, therefore all died;

²⁰ I have been crucified with Christ; yet I live; [and yet] no longer I, but Christ liveth in me: and that [life] which I now live in the flesh I live in faith, [the faith] which is in the Son of God, who loved me, and gave himself up for me.

²³ which is his body, the fulness of him that filleth all in all.

¹⁸ may be strong to apprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth,

² and walk in love, even as Christ also loved you, and gave himself up for us, an offering and a sacrifice to God for an odour of a sweet smell.

²⁵ Husbands, love your wives, even as Christ also loved the church, and gave himself up for it;

⁷ even as it is right for me to be thus minded on behalf of you all, because I have you in my heart, inasmuch as, both in my bonds and in the defence and confirmation of the gospel, ye all are partakers with me of grace.

⁵ Have this mind in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: ⁶ who, being in the form of God, counted it not a prize to be on an equality with God, ⁷ but emptied himself, taking the form of a servant, being made in the likeness of men; ⁸ and being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, becoming obedient [even] unto death, yea, the death of the cross. ⁹ Wherefore also God highly exalted him, and gave unto him the name which is above every name; ¹⁰ that in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of [things] in heaven and [things] on earth and [things] under the earth, ¹¹ and that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father. ¹² So then, my beloved, even as ye have always obeyed, not as in my presence only, but now much more in my absence, work out your own salvation with fear and trembling;

⁷ And the peace of God, which passeth all understanding, shall guard your hearts and your thoughts in Christ Jesus.

¹⁰ to walk worthily of the Lord unto all pleasing, bearing fruit in every good work, and increasing in the knowledge of God;

⁹ for in him dwelleth all the fulness of the Godhead bodily, ¹⁰ and in him ye are made full, who is the head of all principality and power:

¹⁸ But grow in the grace and knowledge of our Lord and Saviour Jesus Christ. To him [be] the glory both now and for ever. Amen.

⁹ Herein was the love of God manifested in us, that God hath sent his only begotten Son into the world, that we might live through him. ¹⁰ Herein is love, not that we loved God, but that he loved us, and sent his Son [to be] the propitiation for our sins. ¹¹ Beloved, if God so loved us, we also ought to love one another. ¹² No man hath beheld God at any time: if we love one another, God abideth in us, and his love is perfected in us: ¹³ hereby know we that we abide in him, and he in us, because he hath given us of his Spirit. ¹⁴ And we have beheld and bear witness that the Father hath sent the Son [to be] the Saviour of the world.

¹⁵ Therefore are they before the throne of God; and they serve him day and night in his temple: and he that sitteth on the throne shall spread his tabernacle over them. ¹⁶ They shall hunger no more, neither thirst any more; neither shall the sun strike upon them, nor any heat: ¹⁷ for the Lamb which is in the midst of the throne shall be their shepherd, and shall guide them unto fountains of waters of life: and God shall wipe away every tear from their eyes.

²² And I saw no temple therein: for the Lord God the Almighty, and the Lamb, are the temple thereof. ²³ And the city hath no need of the sun, neither of the moon, to shine upon it: for the glory of God did lighten it, and the lamp thereof [is] the Lamb. ²⁴ And the nations shall walk amidst the light thereof: and the kings of the earth do bring their glory into it.

³ And there shall be no curse any more: and the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be therein: and his servants shall do him service; ⁴ and they shall see his face; and his name [shall be] on their foreheads. ⁵ And there shall be night no more; and they need no light of lamp, neither light of sun; for the Lord God shall give them light: and they shall reign for ever and ever.
