⁸ for by grace have ye been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: [it is] the gift of God:

¹⁷ And Jesus answered and said unto him, Blessed art thou, Simon Bar-Jonah: for flesh and blood hath not revealed it unto thee, but my Father which is in heaven.

¹⁶ He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved; but he that disbelieveth shall be condemned.

⁵⁰ And he said unto the woman, Thy faith hath saved thee; go in peace.

¹² But as many as received him, to them gave he the right to become children of God, [even] to them that believe on his name: ¹³ which were born, not of blood, nor of the will of the flesh, nor of the will of man, but of God.

¹⁴ And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: ¹⁵ that whosoever believeth may in him have eternal life. ¹⁶ For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth on him should not perish, but have eternal life. ¹⁷ For God sent not the Son into the world to judge the world; but that the world should be saved through him. ¹⁸ He that believeth on him is not judged: he that believeth not hath been judged already, because he hath not believed on the name of the only begotten Son of God.

³⁶ He that believeth on the Son hath eternal life; but he that obeyeth not the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abideth on him.

¹⁰ Jesus answered and said unto her, If thou knewest the gift of God, and who it is that saith to thee, Give me to drink; thou wouldest have asked of him, and he would have given thee living water.

²⁴ Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth him that sent me, hath eternal life, and cometh not into judgment, but hath passed out of death into life.

²⁷ Work not for the meat which perisheth, but for the meat which abideth unto eternal life, which the Son of man shall give unto you: for him the Father, [even] God, hath sealed. ²⁸ They said therefore unto him, What must we do, that we may work the works of God? ²⁹ Jesus answered and said unto them, This is the work of God, that ye believe on him whom he hath sent.

³⁵ Jesus said unto them, I am the bread of life: he that cometh to me shall not hunger, and he that believeth on me shall never thirst.

³⁷ All that which the Father giveth me shall come unto me; and him that cometh to me I will in no wise cast out.

⁴⁰ For this is the will of my Father, that every one that beholdeth the Son, and believeth on him, should have eternal life; and I will raise him up at the last day.

⁴⁴ No man can come to me, except the Father which sent me draw him: and I will raise him up in the last day.

⁶⁵ And he said, For this cause have I said unto you, that no man can come unto me, except it be given unto him of the Father.

³⁹ and by him every one that believeth is justified from all things, from which ye could not be justified by the law of Moses.

²⁷ And when they were come, and had gathered the church together, they rehearsed all things that God had done with them, and how that he had opened a door of faith unto the Gentiles.

⁷ And when there had been much questioning, Peter rose up, and said unto them, Brethren, ye know how that a good while ago God made choice among you, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel, and believe. ⁸ And God, which knoweth the heart, bare them witness, giving them the Holy Ghost, even as he did unto us; ⁹ and he made no distinction between us and them, cleansing their hearts by faith.

¹⁴ And a certain woman named Lydia, a seller of purple, of the city of Thyatira, one that worshipped God, heard us: whose heart the Lord opened, to give heed unto the things which were spoken by Paul.

³¹ And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus, and thou shalt be saved, thou and thy house.

²² even the righteousness of God through faith in Jesus Christ unto all them that believe; for there is no distinction; ²³ for all have sinned, and fall short of the glory of God; ²⁴ being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus: ²⁵ whom God set forth [to be] a propitiation, through faith, by his blood, to shew his righteousness, because of the passing over of the sins done aforetime, in the forbearance of God; ²⁶ for the shewing, [I say], of his righteousness at this present season: that he might himself be just, and the justifier of him that hath faith in Jesus.

⁵ But to him that worketh not, but believeth on him that justifieth the ungodly, his faith is reckoned for righteousness.

¹⁶ For this cause [it is] of faith, that [it may be] according to grace; to the end that the promise may be sure to all the seed; not to that only which is of the law, but to that also which is of the faith of Abraham, who is the father of us all

⁹ because if thou shalt confess with thy mouth Jesus [as] Lord, and shalt believe in thy heart that God raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved: ¹⁰ for with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.

¹⁴ How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?

¹⁷ So belief [cometh] of hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ.

¹⁴ that upon the Gentiles might come the blessing of Abraham in Christ Jesus; that we might receive the promise of the Spirit through faith.

²² Howbeit the scripture hath shut up all things under sin, that the promise by faith in Jesus Christ might be given to them that believe.

¹⁹ and what the exceeding greatness of his power to us-ward who believe, according to that working of the strength of his might

⁵ even when we were dead through our trespasses, quickened us together with Christ (by grace have ye been saved),

¹⁰ For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus for good works, which God afore prepared that we should walk in them.

²⁹ because to you it hath been granted in the behalf of Christ, not only to believe on him, but also to suffer in his behalf:

¹² having been buried with him in baptism, wherein ye were also raised with him through faith in the working of God, who raised him from the dead.

⁹ who shall suffer punishment, [even] eternal destruction from the face of the Lord and from the glory of his might,

¹⁶ Be not deceived, my beloved brethren. ¹⁷ Every good gift and every perfect boon is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom can be no variation, neither shadow that is cast by turning. ¹⁸ Of his own will he brought us forth by the word of truth, that we should be a kind of firstfruits of his creatures.

⁵ who by the power of God are guarded through faith unto a salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.

¹⁰ He that believeth on the Son of God hath the witness in him: he that believeth not God hath made him a liar; because he hath not believed in the witness that God hath borne concerning his Son. ¹¹ And the witness is this, that God gave unto us eternal life, and this life is in his Son. ¹² He that hath the Son hath the life; he that hath not the Son of God hath not the life.
