²¹ And the hand of the Lord was with them: and a great number that believed turned unto the Lord.

¹² Also in Judah was the hand of God to give them one heart, to do the commandment of the king and of the princes by the word of the LORD.

⁹ For upon the first [day] of the first month began he to go up from Babylon, and on the first [day] of the fifth month came he to Jerusalem, according to the good hand of his God upon him.

¹⁸ And according to the good hand of our God upon us they brought us a man of discretion, of the sons of Mahli, the son of Levi, the son of Israel; and Sherebiah, with his sons and his brethren, eighteen;

⁸ and a letter unto Asaph the keeper of the king’s forest, that he may give me timber to make beams for the gates of the castle which appertaineth to the house, and for the wall of the city, and for the house that I shall enter into. And the king granted me, according to the good hand of my God upon me.

¹⁸ And I told them of the hand of my God which was good upon me; as also of the king’s words that he had spoken unto me. And they said, Let us rise up and build. So they strengthened their hands for the good [work].

¹ Who hath believed our report? and to whom hath the arm of the LORD been revealed?

¹ Behold, the LORD’S hand is not shortened, that it cannot save; neither his ear heavy, that it cannot hear:

⁶⁶ And all that heard them laid them up in their heart, saying, What then shall this child be? For the hand of the Lord was with him.

⁴⁷ praising God, and having favour with all the people. And the Lord added to them day by day those that were being saved.

⁴ But many of them that heard the word believed; and the number of the men came to be about five thousand.

¹⁴ and believers were the more added to the Lord, multitudes both of men and women;

⁷ And the word of God increased; and the number of the disciples multiplied in Jerusalem exceedingly; and a great company of the priests were obedient to the faith.

³⁵ And all that dwelt at Lydda and in Sharon saw him, and they turned to the Lord.

²⁴ for he was a good man, and full of the Holy Ghost and of faith: and much people was added unto the Lord.

¹⁹ Wherefore my judgment is, that we trouble not them which from among the Gentiles turn to God;

¹⁸ to open their eyes, that they may turn from darkness to light, and from the power of Satan unto God, that they may receive remission of sins and an inheritance among them that are sanctified by faith in me. ¹⁹ Wherefore, O king Agrippa, I was not disobedient unto the heavenly vision: ²⁰ but declared both to them of Damascus first, and at Jerusalem, and throughout all the country of Judaea, and also to the Gentiles, that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

⁶ I planted, Apollos watered; but God gave the increase. ⁷ So then neither is he that planteth anything, neither he that watereth; but God that giveth the increase.

⁵ how that our gospel came not unto you in word only, but also in power, and in the Holy Ghost, and [in] much assurance; even as ye know what manner of men we shewed ourselves toward you for your sake.

⁹ For they themselves report concerning us what manner of entering in we had unto you; and how ye turned unto God from idols, to serve a living and true God, ¹⁰ and to wait for his Son from heaven, whom he raised from the dead, [even] Jesus, which delivereth us from the wrath to come.
