⁶ I have called upon thee, because thou dost hear me, O God: incline thine ear unto me and hear my speech.

³ Consider and hear me, O LORD my God: lighten mine eyes lest I sleep the sleep of death, ⁴ lest mine enemy say, I have prevailed against him; and those that trouble me rejoice when I am moved.

¹⁶ ¶ As for me, I will call upon God, and the LORD shall save me.

¹⁹ But verily God has heard me; he has attended to the voice of my prayer. ²⁰ Blessed be God, who has not turned away my prayer nor his mercy from me.
