²⁰ ¶ He who has understanding in the word shall find good, and blessed is he who trusts in the LORD.

³⁸ And Pharaoh said unto his slaves, Can we find such a one as this is, a man in whom the Spirit of God is? ³⁹ And Pharaoh said unto Joseph, Forasmuch as God has showed thee all this, there is none so discreet and wise as thou art. ⁴⁰ Thou shalt be over my house, and according unto thy word shall all my people be ruled; only in the throne will I be greater than thou.

²⁰ And they were helped against them, and the Hagarites were delivered into their hand and all that were with them, for they cried to God in the battle, and he was intreated of them because they put their trust in him.

¹² Kiss the Son lest he be angry, and ye perish from the way when his wrath is kindled in a little while. Blessed are all those that put their trust in him.

⁸ Cheth O taste and see that the LORD is good; blessed is the man that shall trust in him.

¹ A Song of degrees. ¶ Those that trust in the LORD are as Mount Zion, which cannot be removed but abides for ever.

⁵ ¶ Happy is he who has the God of Jacob for his help, whose hope is in the LORD his God;

³⁵ For whosoever finds me shall find life and shall obtain the will of the LORD.

¹⁵ ¶ Good understanding brings forth grace: but the way of transgressors is hard.

² ¶ A prudent slave shall have rule over a son that causes shame and shall have part of the inheritance among the brethren.

⁸ ¶ He that gets wisdom loves his own soul; he keeps intelligence that he might find that which is good.

¹⁹ That thy trust may be in the LORD, I have made known to thee this day, even to thee. ²⁰ Have I not written unto thee three times in counsels and knowledge,

³ ¶ Through wisdom the house shall be built, and with intelligence it shall be established: ⁴ And by knowledge shall the chambers be filled with all precious and beautiful riches. ⁵ The wise man is strong; and the man of understanding is a mighty man of valour.

³ Thou wilt keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on thee: because he trusts in thee. ⁴ Trust ye in the LORD for ever: for in JAH, the LORD is the strength of the ages:

¹⁸ ¶ And therefore will the LORD wait for you, that he may have mercy on you, and therefore will he be exalted having mercy upon you: for the LORD is a God of judgment: blessed are all those that wait for him.

⁷ Blessed is the man that is steadfast in the LORD and whose trust is the LORD. ⁸ For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters, that spreads out her roots by the river and shall not see when heat comes, but her leaf shall be green and shall not be fatigued in the year of drought, neither shall cease from yielding fruit.

¹⁹ And the king communed with them, and none among them all was found like Daniel, Hananiah, Mishael, and Azariah; and therefore they stood before the king. ²⁰ And in all matters of wisdom and intelligence, that the king enquired of them, he found them ten times better than all the magicians and astrologers that were in all his realm. ²¹ And Daniel continued even unto the first year of King Cyrus.

²⁸ ¶ Then Nebuchadnezzar spoke and said, Blessed be the God of these, of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego, who has sent his angel and delivered his servants that trusted in him and have changed the king’s word and yielded their bodies that they might not serve nor worship any god, except their own God

²³ Then the king was exceeding glad because of him and commanded that they should take Daniel up out of the den. So Daniel was taken up out of the den, and no injury was found upon him because he believed in his God.

¹⁶ ¶ Behold, I send you forth as sheep in the midst of wolves; be ye therefore prudent as serpents and innocent as doves.
