¹⁷ From that time Jesus began to preach and to say, Repent, for the kingdom of the heavens is at hand.

² and saying, Repent ye, for the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

¹³ Therefore go ye and learn what this is, I will have mercy and not sacrifice, for I am not come to call the righteous but sinners to repentance.

⁷ And as ye go, preach, saying, The kingdom of the heavens has come.

¹² From the days of John the Baptist until now, life is given unto the kingdom of the heavens, and the valiant take hold of it.

⁹ He who has ears to hear, let him hear.

⁴⁷ Again, the kingdom of the heavens is like unto a net that was cast into the sea and gathered of every kind of fish,

¹ ¶ Then shall the kingdom of the heavens be likened unto ten virgins who, taking their lamps, went forth to meet the bridegroom.

¹⁴ ¶ Now after John was put in prison, Jesus came into Galilee, preaching the gospel of the kingdom of God ¹⁵ and saying, The time is fulfilled, and the kingdom of God is at hand; repent ye and believe the gospel.

³² I came not to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

² And he sent them to preach the kingdom of God and to heal the sick.

¹¹ Even the very dust of your city which cleaves on us we do wipe off against you; notwithstanding be ye sure of this that the kingdom of God is come near unto you. ¹² But I say unto you that it shall be more tolerable in that day for Sodom than for that city. ¹³ Woe unto thee, Chorazin! woe unto thee, Bethsaida! for if the mighty works had been done in Tyre and Sidon which have been done in you, they would have repented a long while ago, sitting in sackcloth and ashes. ¹⁴ Therefore it shall be more tolerable for Tyre and Sidon at the judgment than for you.

⁷ I say unto you that likewise there shall be more joy in heaven over one sinner that repents than over ninety-nine just persons, who need no repentance.

¹⁰ Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repents.

⁴⁷ and that repentance and remission of sins should be preached in his name among all nations, beginning from Jerusalem.

³⁸ Then Peter said unto them, Repent and be baptized each one of you into the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and ye shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

¹⁹ Repent ye therefore and be converted that your sins may be blotted out, for the times of refreshing of the presence of the Lord are come;

¹⁸ When they heard these things, they were silent and glorified God, saying, Then God has also granted repentance unto life to the Gentiles.

³⁰ For the times of this ignorance God overlooked, but he now commands all men everywhere to repent

²¹ testifying both to the Jews and also to the Gentiles, repentance toward God and faith toward our Lord Jesus Christ.

²⁰ but I announced first unto those of Damascus and at Jerusalem and throughout all the coasts of Judaea and then to the Gentiles that they should repent and turn to God, doing works worthy of repentance.

²⁵ that with meekness they might teach those that resist, if God peradventure will grant unto them that they might repent and know the truth, ²⁶ and that they may become converted out of the snare of the devil, in which they are captive to do his will.

¹ ¶ Therefore, leaving now the word of the beginning of the establishment of the Christ, let us go on unto perfection, not laying again the foundation of repentance from works of death, and of faith in God,
