⁷ Why do the wicked live? antiquate? - yes, prevail mightily in valour? ⁸ Their seed establishes at their face and their offspring at their eyes; ⁹ their houses are at shalom from dread, the scion of Elohah is not on them. ¹⁰ Their ox passes and loathes not; their heifer slips away and aborts not her calf. ¹¹ They send forth their sucklings as a flock and their children dance; ¹² they lift the tambourine and harp and cheer at the voice of the woodwind;

³⁵ I saw the wicked tyrant stripped naked as a green native; ³⁶ yet he passes away; and behold, he is not; yes, I seek him, but find him not.

³⁸ The rebels desolate together - the finality of the wicked is cut off;

¹² Behold, these are the wicked, - eternally serene who increase in valuables.

¹⁸ Surely you set them in smooth places; you cast them down into ruins: ¹⁹ how they become a desolation - as in a blink! in consuming, they are consumed with terrors. ²⁰ As a dream on wakening, O Adonay, when you waken, you despise their image.

⁵ Floodborne, as asleep; in the morning, as grass that changes. ⁶ In the morning, flourishes and changes; in the evening, cut and withered:

⁴ They gush; they word impudence and all the doers of mischief say.

¹⁵ Man - his days are as grass - as a blossom of the field, thus he blossoms. ¹⁶ For the wind overpasses and is not; and recognizes the place no more:

³² for the apostasy of the gullible slaughters them and the serenity of fools destroys them.

²⁷ And their settlers are short handed - dismayed and shamed - as the herbage of the field and as the green sprouts; as the grass on the roofs and as the field at the face of the stalks.

⁶ A voice says, Call. And he says, What call I? All flesh is grass and all the mercy as the blossom of the field: ⁷ the grass withers; the blossom withers: because the spirit of Yah Veh blows thereon: surely the people is grass.

THE PRAYER OF YIRME YAH
You are just, O Yah Veh, O that I plead with you - word to you of judgments! Why prospers the way of the wicked? Why are all they serene - who in dealing covertly, deal covertly? ² You planted them; yes, they root: they grow; yes, they work fruit: you are near in their mouth and far from their reins.

¹⁵ And now we call the arrogant, blithesome; yes, those working wickedness are built up; yes, they proof Elohim, and escape.

THE DAY OF YAH VEH
For behold, the day approaches that inflames as an oven; and all the arrogant, yes, and all who work wickedly, become stubble: and the day that approaches burns them, says Yah Veh Sabaoth, that it leaves them neither root nor branch.

YAH SHUA ON THE RICH HUMAN AND EL AZAR
A rich human clothed in purple and white linen rejoices radiantly daily: ²⁰ and a beggar named El Azar is cast at his gate - ulcerous; ²¹ and panting to be filled with the crumbs which fall from the table of the rich man: but even the dogs come and lick his ulcers. ²² And so be it, the beggar dies, and is borne by the angels to the bosom of Abraham: the rich man also dies and is entombed; ²³ and in sheol/hades, being in torments, he lifts his eyes, and sees Abraham afar off and El Azar in his bosom. ²⁴ And he voices out and says, Father Abraham, mercy me, and send El Azar to baptize the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue; for I grieve in this flame. ²⁵ But Abraham says, Child, remember that you in your life took your good; and El Azar likewise evil: and now he consoles and you grieve:

¹⁰ and the rich in his humiliation: because he passes as the blossom of the herbage. ¹¹ For the sun rises with a scorch and withers the grass; and the blossom falls and destructs the befittingness of its face: thus also the rich fades in his ways.
