⁵ Yah Veh - your guard; Yah Veh - your shade at your right;

²¹ And Yah Veh goes at their face by day in a pillar of a cloud, to lead them the way; and by night in a pillar of fire, to give them light; to go by day and night:

⁸ I set Yah Veh continually in front of me; because he is at my right, I totter not:

¹ He who settles in the covert of Elyon stays under the shadow of Shadday.

³¹ for he stands at the right of the needy to save him from those who judge his soul.

⁵ and upon every dwelling place of mount Siyon and upon her convocations, Yah Veh creates a cloud and smoke by day and the brilliance of a flaming fire by night - a canopy upon all the honor: ⁶ and sukkoth/brush arbors for a shadow in the day from the heat and for a place of refuge; and for a covert from flood and from rain.

⁴ for you are a stronghold to the poor; a strength to the needy in his tribulation; a refuge from the flood; a shadow from the parchedness when the wind of the tyrants is as a flood against the wall.

² and man is as a refuge from the wind and a covert from the flood; as rivulets of water in a parch as the shadow of a heavy rock in a languid land:
