And so be it, afterward, he loves a woman in the wadi of Soreq her name is Delilah. ⁵ And the ringleaders of the Peleshethiy ascend to her and say to her, Entice him; and see wherein his great force is and how to prevail against him - so as to bind him to humble him; and each man of us gives you eleven hundred silvers. ⁶ And Delilah says to Shimshon, Tell me, I beseech you, wherein your great force is and how to bind you to humble you.

¹⁵ And she says to him, How say you, I love you, when your heart is not with me? You mock me these three times and tell me not wherein your great force is. ¹⁶ And so be it, when she oppresses him all days with her words and urges him, his soul shortens to die; ¹⁷ and he tells her all his heart and says to her, No razor ascends my head; for I am a Separatist to Elohim from the belly of my mother: if I become shaven, my force turns from me and I become worn and become as any one human. ¹⁸ And when Delilah sees that he tells her all his heart, she sends and calls the ringleaders of the Peleshethiy, saying, Ascend this one time, for he tells me all his heart. And the ringleaders of the Peleshethiy ascend to her and ascend silver in their hand: ¹⁹ and she has him sleep on her knees; and she calls for a man to shave the seven braids of his head; and she begins to abase him and his force turns from him. ²⁰ And she says, The Peleshethiy on you, Shimshon! And he wakens from his sleep and says, I go out as time by time and shake myself. - and he knows not that Yah Veh turned from him. ²¹ And the Peleshethiy possess him and bore out his eyes; and bring him down to Azzah and bind him with fetters of copper; and he grinds in the house of binding:

²¹ his mouth is more tender than butter but in his heart, war; his words are softer than ointment, yet, openings.

⁴ My soul is among roaring lions; and I lie among the inflamed - the sons of humanity whose teeth are spears and arrows and their tongue a sharp sword.

²⁴ to guard you from the evil woman: from the tongue of a stranger who smoothes it over. ²⁵ Neither desire her beauty in your heart; nor be overtaken by her eyelids: ²⁶ for a woman whores for a round of bread; and a woman of a man hunts for the esteemed soul. ²⁷ Takes a man fire in his bosom and not burn his clothes? ²⁸ - a man go on coals and not blister his feet? ²⁹ Thus he who goes in to the woman of his friend; whoever touches her is not exonerated. ³⁰ Despise not a thief if he steals to fill his soul when he famishes; ³¹ and being found out, he shalams sevenfold; he gives all the wealth of his house. ³² He who adulterizes with a woman, lacks heart; he who thus works ruins his own soul: ³³ he finds plague and abasement; and his reproach wipes not away. ³⁴ For jealousy is the fury of the mighty; and he spares not in the day of avengement; ³⁵ he neither lifts the face of any koper/atonement; nor wills he though you abound bribes.

²² suddenly he goes after her - as an ox going to the slaughter - as a fool to the discipline of tinklers: ²³ until an arrow strikes through his liver; as a bird hastens to the snare and knows not it is for his soul.

¹⁸ - and he knows not that ghosts are there; and that her called ones are in the depths of sheol.

²⁷ For a whore is a deep chasm; and a stranger is a narrow well. ²⁸ She also lurks as a robber and increases them who deal covertly among humanity.

²⁶ and I find more bitter than death the woman whose heart is lairs and devoted and her hands as bands; whoever is good at the face of Elohim escapes from her; and the sinner is captured by her.

¹² For the word of Elohim is living and energized and sharper than any double-mouthed sword, thoroughly penetrating to the parting of soul and spirit and of the joints and marrow: and is a discerner of the deliberation and mind of the heart. ^{Isaiah 49:2}

¹⁵ overseeing lest anyone fall behind of the charism of Elohim; lest any sprouting root of bitterness harass you; and through this many are defiled; ¹⁶ lest there be any whoremonger or profaner as Esav - who for one morsel of food gave up his firstrights.
