¹⁷ for Yah Veh our Elohim ascended us and our fathers from the land of Misrayim from the house of servants and worked those great signs in our eyes; and guarded us in all the way we went and among all the people among whom we passed:

⁴ You saw what I worked to the Misrayim and how I birthed you on wings of eagles and brought you to myself:

¹¹ As an eagle waking her nest, fluttering over her younglings, spreading her wings, takes them, bears them on her pinions: ¹² thus Yah Veh alone leads him and there is no strange el with him.

⁵ and I sent Mosheh and Aharon and I smote Misrayim as I worked among them: and afterward I brought you out. ⁶ And I brought your fathers from Misrayim: and you came to the sea; and the Misrayim pursued your fathers with chariots and cavalry to the Reed sea. ⁷ And when they cried to Yah Veh, he set darkness between you and between the Misrayim and brought the sea on them and covered them; and your eyes saw what I worked in Misrayim: and you settled in the wilderness many days. ⁸ And I brought you to the land of the Emoriy who settled beyond Yarden; and they fought with you: and I gave them into your hand to possess their land; and I desolated them from your face. ⁹ And Balaq the son of Sippor sovereign of Moab rose and fought against Yisra El and sent and called Bilam the son of Beor to abase you; ¹⁰ but I willed to not hearken to Bilam: and in blessing, he blessed you: thus I delivered you from his hand. ¹¹ And you passed over Yarden and came to Yericho: and the masters of Yericho fought against you - the Emoriy and the Perizziy and the Kenaaniy and the Hethiy and the Girgashiy the Hivviy and the Yebusiy; and I gave them into your hand: ¹² and I sent the hornet from your face who drove them from your face - the two sovereigns of the Emoriy - neither with your sword nor with your bow: ¹³ and I gave you a land for which you labored not and cities which you built not and you settled in them; of the vineyards and oliveyards which you planted not, you eat. ¹⁴
YAH SHUA CHALLENGES YISRA EL Now awe Yah Veh and serve him in integrity and in truth: and turn aside the elohim your fathers served beyond the river and in Misrayim; and serve Yah Veh:

⁴ and even to your agedness, I am he; and to greyness I bear: I work and I bear; yes, I bear and rescue you.

⁷ I remember the mercies of Yah Veh, the halals of Yah Veh, according to all Yah Veh dealt us, and the great goodness toward the house of Yisra El which he dealt on them according to his mercies and according to the abundance of his mercies. ⁸ And he says, Surely they are my people; sons who falsify not: he is their Saviour. ⁹ In all their tribulation, he tribulates not; and the angel of his face saves them: in his love and in his compassion he redeemed them and he bore them - bore them all the days of antiquity. ¹⁰ And they rebelled and contorted his holy Spirit: and he turned to be their enemy - he fought against them: ¹¹ and he remembered the days of antiquity - Mosheh - his people. Where is he who ascended them from the sea with the tender of his flock? Where is he who set his holy Spirit within him? ¹² Who carried them by the right of Mosheh with his arm of adornment - splitting the water at their face to work himself an eternal name? ¹³ Who carried them through the abyss as a horse in the wilderness that they not falter? ¹⁴ As an animal descends into the valley, the Spirit of Yah Veh rests him: thus you drive your people, to work yourself a name of adornment.

⁹ And I - I desolate the Emoriy at their face, whose height is as the height of the cedars as powerful as the oaks; and I desolate his fruit from above and his roots from beneath. ¹⁰ And I ascended you from the land of Misrayim; and carried you forty years through the wilderness to possess the land of the Emoriy:
