THE TORAH ON MINGLING When Yah Veh your Elohim brings you to the land where you go, to possess it, and plucks many goyim from your face - the Hethiy and the Girgashiy and the Emoriy and the Kenaaniy and the Perizziy and the Hivviy and the Yebusiy - seven goyim greater and mightier than you;

¹⁴ And so be it, when the people pull stakes from their tents to pass over Yarden; and the priests bear the ark of the covenant at the face of the people; ¹⁵ as they who bear the ark come to Yarden; and the feet of the priests who bear the ark dip in the edge of the water - for Yarden overflows its banks all the days of harvest; ¹⁶ the waters coming from above stand and rise - one heap - mighty far removed from Adam City beside Sarethan: and they who descend toward the sea of the plain, the salt sea, are consummated and cut off: and the people pass over right against Yericho: ¹⁷ and the priests bearing the ark of the covenant of Yah Veh stand established on a parched area midst Yarden, and all the Yisra Eliy pass over on a parched area, until all the goyim finish passing over Yarden.

¹⁰ and the priests who bear the ark stand midst Yarden until every word Yah Veh misvahed to Yah Shua to word to the people is finished - according to all Mosheh misvahed Yah Shua: and the people hasten and pass over. ¹¹ And so be it, when all the people finish passing over, the ark of Yah Veh and the priests pass over at the face of the people; ¹² and the sons of Reu Ben and the sons of Gad and half the scion of Menash Sheh pass over in ranks of five at the face of the sons of Yisra El - as Mosheh worded them:

²³ for Yah Veh your Elohim withered the waters of Yarden from your face until you passed over - as Yah Veh your Elohim worked to the Reed sea, which he withered from our face, until we passed over:

¹ In shutting, Yericho is shut from the face of the sons of Yisra El: no one going, and no one coming. ² And Yah Veh says to Yah Shua, See, I give in your hand, Yericho and the sovereign and the mighty of valour: ³ surround the city, all you men of war, and go all around the city one time: work thus six days: ⁴ and seven priests at the face of the ark bear seven shophars of jubilee: and the seventh day surround the city seven times, and the priests blast with the shophars. ⁵ And so be it, when they draw on the jubilee horn, and when you hear the voice of the shophar, all the people shout a great shout; and the wall of the city falls under it, and the people ascend, each straight in front of him. ⁶ And Yah Shua the son of Nun calls the priests, and says to them, Lift the ark of the covenant. - and seven priests bear seven shophars of jubilee at the face of the ark of Yah Veh. ⁷ And he says to the people, Pass on, and surround the city, and he who is equipped pass on at the face of the ark of Yah Veh. ⁸ And so be it, when Yah Shua says to the people, the seven priests bearing the seven shophars of jubilee pass on at the face of Yah Veh, and blast with the shophars: and the ark of the covenant of Yah Veh walks after them; ⁹ and the equipped walk at the face of the priests who blast the shophars; and the gathering walks after the ark going on and blasting with the shophars. ¹⁰ And Yah Shua misvahs the people, saying, Neither shout, nor have your voice heard, nor any word go from your mouth, until the day I say, Shout! then, shout! ¹¹ And the ark of Yah Veh surrounds the city, going around one time: and they come into the camp and stay overnight in the camp. ¹² And Yah Shua starts early in the morning and the priests lift the ark of Yah Veh: ¹³ and seven priests bearing seven shophars of jubilee at the face of the ark of Yah Veh in walking, walk and blast with the shophars: and the equipped go at their face; and the gathering comes after the ark of Yah Veh - going and blasting with the shophars. ¹⁴ And the second day they surround the city one time, and return to the camp: thus they work six days. ¹⁵ And so be it, on the seventh day, they start early about the ascending of dawn, and surround the city after the same judgment seven times: except on that day they surround the city seven times. ¹⁶ And so be it, the seventh time, the priests blast the shophars, and Yah Shua says to the people, Shout! - for Yah Veh gives you the city! ¹⁷ And the city becomes devoted to Yah Veh - it and all therein: only, Rachab the whore lives - she and all with her in the house, because she hid the angels we sent. ¹⁸ And you, be on guard of the devoted, lest you become devoted when you take of the devotement; and set the camp of Yisra El a devotement, and trouble it. ¹⁹ But all the silver and gold and instruments of copper and iron, are holy to Yah Veh: they come into the treasury of Yah Veh. ²⁰ So the people shout and blast with the shophars: and so be it, when the people hear the voice of the shophar and the people shout with a great shouting the wall falls flat; so that the people ascended into the city; and every man straight in front of him captures the city: ²¹ and they devote all that is in the city - both man and woman - from lad to old man and ox and lamb and he burro with the mouth of the sword. ²² And to the two men who spied the land, Yah Shua says, Go into the house of the woman, and bring out the woman and all she has, as you oathed to her. ²³ And the lads, the spies go in, and bring out Rachab and her father and her mother and her brothers and all she has; and they bring out all her family, and leave them outside the camp of Yisra El: ²⁴ and they burn the city and all therein with fire: only, they give the silver and the gold and the instruments of copper and of iron to the treasury of the house of Yah Veh. ²⁵ And Yah Shua saves Rachab the whore alive with the household of her father and all she has; and she settles within Yisra El to this day; because she hid the angels Yah Shua sent to spy out Yericho. ²⁶ And Yah Shua oathed them at that time, saying, Cursed from the face of Yah Veh be the man who rises and builds this city Yericho: he lays his firstbirthed in the foundation thereof, and in his lesser, he stations the doors. ²⁷ So Yah Veh is with Yah Shua; and his fame becomes throughout all the land.

THE DAY THE SUN STOOD STILL And so be it, Adoni Sedeq sovereign of Yeru Shalem hears that Yah Shua captured Ay and devoted it - as he worked to Yericho and her sovereign thus he worked to Ay and her sovereign - and how the settlers of Gibon shalam with Yisra El and are among them: ² and they awe mightily because Gibon is a great city - as one of the royal cities; and because it is greater than Ay; and all the men thereof are mighty. ³ And Adoni Sedeq sovereign of Yeru Shalem sends to Hoham sovereign of Hebron and to Piram sovereign of Yarmuth and to Yaphia sovereign of Lachish and to Debir sovereign of Eglon, saying, ⁴ Ascend to me and help me smite Gibon: for it shalams with Yah Shua and with the sons of Yisra El. ⁵ So the five sovereigns of the Emoriy - the sovereign of Yeru Shalem, the sovereign of Hebron, the sovereign of Yarmuth, the sovereign of Lachish, the sovereign of Eglon, gather together and ascend - they and all their camps and encamp against Gibon and fight. ⁶ And the men of Gibon send to Yah Shua to the camp to Gilgal, saying, Slack not your hand from your servants; ascend to us quickly, and save us, and help us: for all the sovereigns of the Emoriy settling in the mountains gather together against us. ⁷ So Yah Shua ascends from Gilgal - he and all the people of war with him and all the mighty of valour. ⁸ And Yah Veh says to Yah Shua, Awe them not: for I give them into your hand; not a man of them stands at your face. ⁹ And Yah Shua comes to them suddenly and ascends from Gilgal all night: ¹⁰ and Yah Veh agitates them at the face of Yisra El and smites them with a great stroke at Gibon; and pursues them along the way of the ascent of Beth Horon and smites them to Azeqah and to Maqqedah. ¹¹ And so be it, as they flee the face of Yisra El and are in the descent of Beth Horon, Yah Veh casts great stones from the heavens on them to Azeqah, and they die: and they who died with hailstones are greater than they whom the sons of Yisra El slaughtered with the sword.

²⁴ and the sons came in and possessed the land and you subdued at their face the settlers of the land - the Kenaaniy and gave them into their hands - with their sovereigns and the people of the land - to work with them as they pleased: ²⁵ and they captured cut off cities and a fat soil and possessed houses full of all goods, wells hewed, vineyards and oliveyards and food trees in abundance: so they ate and satisfied and fattened and pleased themselves in your great goodness:

⁵⁴ he brought them to the border of his holies - this mountain which his right chattelized: ⁵⁵ he exiled the goyim from their face and felled them an inheritance by line: and had the scions of Yisra El tabernacle in their tents.

⁴⁴ and gave them the lands of the goyim; and they possessed the toil of the nations

³ The sea sees and flees; Yarden returns;

⁵ What, O sea, that you flee? O Yarden, that you return?

⁴⁵ which also our fathers, having received in succession, brought in with Yah Shua ^* into the possession of the goyim - whom Elohim expelled from the face of our fathers to the days of David;
