³⁵ I saw the wicked tyrant stripped naked as a green native; ³⁶ yet he passes away; and behold, he is not; yes, I seek him, but find him not.

³ For I envy them who halal when I see the shalom of the wicked: ⁴ for there are no bands in their death: their might fattens; ⁵ they are neither in toil of man nor touched as humans. ⁶ So pomp chokes them; violence shrouds them as a masculine garment: ⁷ their eyes stand out with fat; they surpass the imagination of the heart: ⁸ they blaspheme and word evil concerning oppression; they word loftily: ⁹ they set their mouth against the heavens and their tongue walks through the earth. ¹⁰ So his people return here; and waters of fulness wring out to them. ¹¹ And they say, How knows El?
