⁶ He enlivens not the wicked and gives judgment to the humble;

²² Humble not any widow or orphan: ²³ if in humbling, you humble them and in crying, they cry to me, in hearing, I hear their cry; ²⁴ and I kindle my wrath and slaughter you with the sword; that your women become widows and your sons orphans.

¹⁵ And he saves the needy from the sword, from their mouth and from the hand of the strong.

²² and they who hate you enrobe with shame; and the tent of the wicked comes to nought.

⁷ Why do the wicked live? antiquate? - yes, prevail mightily in valour? ⁸ Their seed establishes at their face and their offspring at their eyes; ⁹ their houses are at shalom from dread, the scion of Elohah is not on them.

³⁰ - that the evil are spared to the day of calamity? - to be brought forth to the day of fury?

¹² because I rescued them who cried - the humble and the orphan and whoever had no helper. ¹³ The blessing of him who was ready to destruct came on me; and I caused the heart of the widow to shout. ¹⁴ I enrobed justness and it enrobed me; my judgment was as a mantle and a turban; ¹⁵ I was eyes to the blind and feet to the lame; ¹⁶ - a father to the needy. I probed contentions that I knew not; ¹⁷ I broke the molars of the wicked and cast the prey from his teeth.

¹² he remembers them who search for blood; he forgets not the cry of the humble.

¹⁴ You see; for you scan toil and vexation, they give into your hand; they leave the unfortunate to you you - the helper of the orphan. ¹⁵ Break the arm of the wicked and the evil; seek out his wickedness until you find none.

²³ And you, O Elohim, descend them into the well of the pit of ruin; men of bloods and deceit halve their days; but I confide in you.

⁴ He judges the humble of the people; he saves the sons of the needy and crushes the oppressor.

¹² For he rescues the needy who cries - the humble and he who has no helper; ¹³ he spares the poor and needy and saves the souls of the needy: ¹⁴ he redeems their soul from fraud and violence; and esteems their blood in his eyes:

¹ A Psalm by Asaph. Elohim stations in the witness of El; he judges among the elohim: ² until when judge you wickedly and lift the faces of the wicked? Selah. ³ Judge the poor and orphan; justify the humble and impoverished; ⁴ slip away the poor and needy; rescue them from the hand of the wicked.
