²³ One dies in the integrity of his bones, wholly serene and secure:

²² In the fulness of his gluttony, he constricts; every hand of the wicked comes on him. ²³ In the fulness of his belly, he sends his fuming wrath on him - rains on him while he eats.

¹⁷ for when he dies he takes naught; his honor descends not after him.

⁴ for there are no bands in their death: their might fattens; ⁵ they are neither in toil of man nor touched as humans.

¹⁹ and say to my soul, Soul, you have vast goods laid for many years; Rest! Eat! Drink! Rejoice! ²⁰ And Elohim says to him, Thoughtless! This night your soul is required of you: so whose are those that you prepared? ²¹ Thus is he who treasures for himself, and is not rich toward Elohim.
