¹ He who settles in the covert of Elyon stays under the shadow of Shadday.

⁷ return to your rest, O my soul; for Yah Veh deals with you.

¹⁷⁶ I strayed as a lost lamb; seek your servant; for I forget not your misvoth.

⁷ Tell me, you whom my soul loves, where you tend; where you respose at noon; why am I as a veiled one by the droves of your companions? ⁸
THE MAN RESPONDS
If you know not, O you beautiful among women, go the way of the heelprints of the flock; and tend your kids beside the tabernacles of the tenders.

¹⁵ For thus says Adonay Yah Veh the Holy One of Yisra El, In returning and rest you are saved; in resting and in confidence is your might: and you will not.

² and man is as a refuge from the wind and a covert from the flood; as rivulets of water in a parch as the shadow of a heavy rock in a languid land:

⁶ We all strayed as a flock; - every man faced to his own way; and on him, Yah Veh met all our perversity.

¹⁰ His watchers are blind; they know not: they are all mute dogs; they cannot bark: dreaming, lying down, loving to slumber. ¹¹ Yes, they are dogs, strong of soul, who know not satisfaction; and they are tenders who know not to discern: they all face their own way, every man for his gain, from his end. ¹² You, come; I take wine, and we carouse with intoxicants; and tomorrow is as this day - a mighty great remainder.

²⁰ For from eternal time I broke your yoke and tore your bonds; and you say, I serve not! when on every high hill and under every green tree you stroll, whoring.

³² Forgets a virgin her ornaments? Or a bride her bands? Yet my people forget me days without number.

THE UNTRUSTWORTHINESS OF YISRA EL
And Yah Veh says to me in the days of Yoshi Yah the sovereign, See you what apostate Yisra El works? She goes on every high mountain and under every green tree, and whores there.

²³ Surely in falsehood from the hills and from the multitude of mountains: surely in Yah Veh our Elohim is the salvation of Yisra El.

²¹ for the tenders are stupid and seek not Yah Veh: so they comprehend not and all their pastures are scattered.

¹¹ For both prophet and priest profane; yes, in my house I found their evil - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹² So their way is to them as slippery in the darkness: they are overthrown and fall therein: for I bring evil on them - the year of their visitation - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹³ And I see frivolity in the prophets of Shomeron; they prophesy in Baal, and stray my people Yisra El: ¹⁴ and I see a horror in the prophets of Yeru Shalem; they adulterize and walk in falsehoods: yes, they strengthen the hands of vilifiers so that no man returns from his evil: they all are to me as Sedom and the settlers as Amorah. ¹⁵ So thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth concerning the prophets: Behold, I feed them with wormwood and have them drink the water of gall: for from the prophets of Yeru Shalem profaneness goes into all the land.

¹⁷ Yisra El is a scattered lamb; the lions drive him away: first the sovereign of Ashshur devours him; and last this Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel craunches his bones.

¹⁹ and I return Yisra El to his habitation of rest, and he tends on Karmel/orchard and Bashan, and his soul satiates on mount Ephrayim and Gilad.

⁴ you neither strengthen the worn nor heal the sick; nor bind the broken nor restore the expelled; nor seek you the lost: and with severity and with tyranny you subjugate them. ⁵ And because there is no tender, they scatter: and they become food to all the live beings of the field; yes, they scatter. ⁶ My flock errs inadvertently through all the mountains and on every high hill: yes, my flock scatters on all the face of the earth; and no one searches or seeks. ⁷ So, you tenders, hear the word of Yah Veh: ⁸ I live - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh surely because my flock are a plunder yes, my flock becomes food to every live being of the field because there is no tender; my tenders search not for my flock: and the tenders tend themselves and tend not my flock. ⁹ So, O you tenders, hear the word of Yah Veh; ¹⁰ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Behold, I am against the tenders; and I require my flock at their hand, and shabbathize them from tending the flock; and the tenders tend themselves no more; and I rescue my flock from their mouth, so that they not become food for them. ¹¹
THE TENDER OF YISRA EL
For thus says Adonay Yah Veh; Behold, I - I both search my flock and search them out ¹² as a tender searches his drove in the day he is among his flock who scatter; thus I search my flock and rescue them from all places they scatter in the day of cloud and dripping darkness:

¹⁴ I tend them in a good pasture, and on the high mountains of Yisra El is their habitation of rest: there they crouch in a good habitation of rest and in a fat pasture they graze on the mountains of Yisra El.

YAH VEH CUTS A COVENANT OF SHALOM
And I cut a covenant of shalom with them and shabbathize the evil live beings from the land: and they settle confidently in the wilderness and sleep in the forests: ²⁶ and I give all them all around my hill a blessing; and I descend the downpour in its time - downpours of blessing: ²⁷ and the tree of the field gives her fruit and the earth gives her produce and they confide in their soil; and know I - Yah Veh when I break the yoke poles of their yoke, and rescue them from the hand of them who serve themselves of them. ²⁸ And they are a plunder to the goyim no more, and the live being of the land devours them not; and they settle confidently and no one terrifies them.

⁴ Thus says Yah Veh my Elohim: Tend the flock of the slaughter; ⁵ whose chattelers slaughter them, and they guilt not: and they who sell them say, Blessed - Yah Veh; for I enrich: and their own tenders spare them not. ⁶ For I spare the settlers of the land no more - an oracle of Yah Veh. And behold, I present humanity - each man to the hand of his friend and to the hand of his sovereign; and they crush the land: and from their hand I rescue them not: ⁷ and I tend the flock of slaughter - even you, O humble of the flock. And I take two staves to myself; the one I call Pleasantness and the one I call Bands: and I tend the flock. ⁸ And in one month, I chop off three tenders; and my soul loathes them, and their soul also loathes me. ⁹ Then I say, I tend you not: what dies, dies; and what is cut off, is cut off; and of them who survive, each woman eats the flesh of sister.

³⁶ and he sees the multitudes and has a sympathetic spleen for them - because they faint - tossed about as sheep having no shepherd.

⁶ but go rather to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra El:

²⁴ But he answers, saying, I am not apostolized except only to the lost sheep of the house of Yisra El.

¹⁰ See that you not disesteem one of these little ones; for I word to you, That in the heavens, through all time, their angels see the face of my Father in the heavens. ¹¹ For the Son of humanity comes to save the lost. ¹²
THE PARABLE OF THE WANDERING SHEEP
How think you? Whenever any human becomes a hundred sheep and one of them wanders, forsakes he not the ninety-nine, and goes to the mountains, and seeks that which wanders? ¹³ And so be it, whenever he finds it, Amen! I word to you, he cheers more over it than of the ninety-nine who wander not.

⁴ What human of you, having a hundred sheep, and loses one of them, leaves not the ninety-nine in the wilderness and goes after the lost, until he finds it? ⁵ And when he finds it, he puts it on his shoulders, cheering: ⁶ and when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, wording to them, Rejoice with me; for I found my sheep - the lost. ⁷ I word to you, that likewise cheer becomes in the heavens over one sinner who repents - more than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

²⁵ For you were as wandering sheep - but now you returned to the Shepherd and Episcopate of your souls. ^{Isaiah 52:14-53:12}
