¹⁹ Behold, he ascends as a lion from the pomp of Yarden against the habitation of rest of the perennial: and in a blink, I run him away from her: and who is chosen, that I oversee her? For who is like me? And who congregates with me? And who is that tender standing at my face?

¹¹ Who is like you, O Yah Veh, among the el? Who is like you, mighty in holiness? - awesome in halals, working marvels?

¹⁵ as they who bear the ark come to Yarden; and the feet of the priests who bear the ark dip in the edge of the water - for Yarden overflows its banks all the days of harvest;

¹⁵ these are they who pass over Yarden in the first month, when it overflows all its banks; and they cause all in the valley to flee - from the rising and from the dusk.

¹⁹ If of force, behold, he is strong! If of judgment, who congregates to me?

²¹ I - integrious, yet I know not my soul; I spurn my life.

³ Who gives that I know - that I find him - that I come to his place! ⁴ O that I line up my judgment at his face and fill my mouth with reproofs. ⁵ O that I know the utterances he answers me and discern what he says to me. ⁶ Contends he against me with his abundant force? No; but he sets it in me. ⁷ There the straight reprove him; and in perpetuity, I slip away from my judge.

And Iyob answers Yah Veh and says, ⁴ Behold, I am abased; What respond I to you? I set my hand to my mouth. ⁵ I worded once; but I answer not: yes, twice; but not again. ⁶

And Yah Veh answers Iyob from the storm and says, ⁷ Gird your loins, I beseech, as a mighty; I ask of you; and have me know. ⁸ Break you my judgment? Judge you me wicked to justify yourself?

¹⁰ None is so fierce that he wakens him. Who then sets at my face?

³ Who is he who conceals counsel without knowledge? so I tell, and I discern not - too marvellous for me, and I know not. ⁴ Hear, I beseech you, and I word; I ask you; you have me know. ⁵ I hear you by the hearing of the ear; and now my eye sees you:

⁷ You - you are awesome; and who stands at the face of your eyes since your wrath?

⁶ Who in the vapours ranks with Yah Veh? Who among the sons of El likens to Yah Veh?

⁸ O Yah Elohim Sabaoth, Who is a powerful Yah likened to you? Or to your trustworthiness all around you?

⁵ Who is as Yah Veh our Elohim? Who lofts in his settlement? ⁶ Who abases to see on the heavens and on the earth?

² And enter not into judgment with your servant; for at your face no one living is justified;

²⁵ To whom then liken you me, or equate? says the Holy One.

⁷ The lion ascends from his thicket and the ruiner of the goyim is on his way; he comes from his place to set your land desolate; and set your cities desolate; without a settler.

⁵ If you run with them on foot, and they weary you, and how inflame you yourself with horses? And if in the land of shalom, wherein you confide, then how work you in the pomp of Yarden?

²¹ And their mighty become from themselves, and their sovereign proceeds from their midst: and I have him approach; and he approaches to me: for who is this who pleases his heart to approach to me? - an oracle of Yah Veh.

And who is that tender who stands at my face? ⁴⁵ So hear the counsel Yah Veh counsels against Babel; and the fabrications he fabricates against the land of the Kesediym: surely the lesser of the flock drag them out: surely he desolates their habitation of rest with them. ⁴⁶ At the voice of the apprehending of Babel the earth quakes; and the cry is heard among the goyim.

⁶ Who stands at the face of his rage? And who rises in the fuming of his wrath? He pours his fury as fire and pulls down the rocks.

³ A voice of howling of the tenders; for their mighty are ravaged! A voice of the roaring of whelps; for the pomp of Yarden is ravaged.

¹⁷ because the mega day of his wrath is come; and who is able to stand?
