⁸ And as the evil figs, not eaten for their evil, thus says Yah Veh: Thus I give Sidqi Yah the sovereign of Yah Hudah and his governors and the survivors of Yeru Shalem who survive in this land - who settle in the land of Misrayim:

¹⁰ For I set my face against this city for evil and not for good; - an oracle of Yah Veh: - given into the hand of the sovereign of Babel and he burns it with fire.

² One basket of mighty good figs, as the first ripe figs: and the one basket of mighty evil figs, which are not eaten, for evil.

⁵ Thus says Yah Veh, Elohim of Yisra El; As these good figs, thus I acknowledge the exiles of Yah Hudah - whom I sent from this place into the land of the Kesediym for good:

¹⁶ thus says Yah Veh of the sovereign who settles on the throne of David, and of all the people who settle in this city, and of your brothers who were not exiled with you; ¹⁷ thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: Behold, I send on them the sword the famine and the pestilence; and give them as putrified figs, not eaten for their evil: ¹⁸ and I pursue after them with the sword with the famine and with the pestilence; and give them for an agitation to all the sovereigndoms of the earth - for an oath and a desolation and a hissing and a reproach among all the goyim where I drove them:

²⁸ So thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I give this city into the hand of the Kesediym, and into the hand of Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel; and he takes it: ²⁹ and the Kesediym who fight against this city come and kindle fire on this city - and burn it with the houses on whose roofs they incensed to Baal and libated libations to other elohim, to vex me:

¹⁷ So thus says Yah Veh: You hearken not to me, in calling out liberty - every man to his brother and every man to his friend: behold, I proclaim a liberty for you - an oracle of Yah Veh to the sword, to the pestilence and to the famine; and I give you for an agitation into all the kingdoms of the earth: ¹⁸ and I give the men who tresspass my covenant, who raise not the words of the covenant to cut at my face - when they cut the calf in two and passed between the sections ¹⁹ - the governors of Yah Hudah and the governors of Yeru Shalem, the eunuchs, and the priests and all the people of the land who passed between the sections of the calf; ²⁰ yes, I give them into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of them who seek their soul: and their carcases become food to the flyers of the heavens and to the animals of the earth: ²¹ and I give Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah and his governors into the hand of their enemies and into the hand of them who seek their soul and into the hand of the valiant of the sovereign of Babel, who ascend from you. ²² Behold, I misvah - an oracle of Yah Veh and return them to this city; and they fight against it and capture it and burn it with fire: and I give the cities of Yah Hudah a desolation without a settler.

¹⁰ For though you smite all the valiant of the Kesediym who fight against you, and there survives but wounded men among them, every man rises from his tent to burn this city with fire.

¹⁷ And Sidqi Yah the sovereign sends and takes him out: and in his house the sovereign asks him covertly, and says, Is there a word from Yah Veh? And Yirme Yah says, There is. And he says, You are given into the hand of the sovereign of Babel.

¹⁸ and if you go not to the governors of the sovereign of Babel, then this city is given into the hand of the Kesediym and they burn it with fire; and you escape not from their hand. ¹⁹ And Sidqi Yah the sovereign says to Yirme Yah, I am concerned for the Yah Hudiym who fell to the Kesediym; lest they give me into their hand and they exploit me. ²⁰ And Yirme Yah says, They give you not. Hear, I beseech you, the voice of Yah Veh that I word to you: so it well-pleases you, and your soul lives. ²¹ And if you refuse to go, this is the word Yah Veh shows me: ²² and behold, they bring all the women who survive in the house of the sovereign of Yah Hudah to the governors of the sovereign of Babel; and they say, Your men of shalom goaded you and prevailed against you: your feet have sunk in the mire, and they apostatized backward. ²³ And they bring all your women and your sons to the Kesediym: and you escape not from their hand, for you are apprehended by the hand of the sovereign of Babel: and this city is burned with fire.

² and in the eleventh year of Sidqi Yah, in the fourth month, the ninth of the month, the city is split: ³ and all the governors of the sovereign of Babel come in and sit in the middle portal - Nergal Shareser, Samgar Nebo, Sarsechim the rabbi eunuch, Nergal Shareser the rabbi magi, and all the survivors of the governors of the sovereign of Babel. ⁴ And so be it, Sidqi Yah the sovereign of Yah Hudah and all the men of war see them, and they flee, and go from the city by night by the way of the garden of the sovereign by the portal between the two walls: and he goes the way of the plain. ⁵ And the valiant of the Kesediym pursue them and overtake Sidqi Yah in the plains of Yericho: and they take him and ascend him to Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel to Riblah in the land of Hamath - where he words judgment on him. ⁶ And the sovereign of Babel slaughters the sons of Sidqi Yah in Riblah in front of his eyes: yes, the sovereign of Babel slaughters all the nobles of Yah Hudah: ⁷ and he blinds the eyes of Sidqi Yah and binds him with coppers to carry him to Babel. ⁸ And the Kesediym burn the house of the sovereign and the houses of the people with fire, and break down the walls of Yeru Shalem: ⁹ and Nebu Zaradan the rabbi slaughterer exiles the remnant of the people who survive in the city, and those who fell - who fell to him, with the remnant of the people who survive to Babel:

And so be it, Yirme Yah concludes wording all the words of Yah Veh their Elohim to all the people, for which Yah Veh their Elohim sent him to them - all these words,

WARNING CONCERNING IDOLATRY
And so be the word to Yirme Yah concerning all the Yah Hudiym who settle in the land of Misrayim - who settle at Migdol and at Tachpanches and at Noph and in the land of Pathros, saying,

²⁶ So hear the word of Yah Veh, all Yah Hudah who settles in the land of Misrayim; Behold, I oath by my great name, says Yah Veh, that my name no more becomes called out in the mouth of any man of Yah Hudah in all the land of Misrayim, saying, Adonay Yah Veh lives. ²⁷ Behold, I watch over them for evil, and not for good: and all the men of Yah Hudah in the land of Misrayim are consumed by the sword and by the famine until the consummation. ²⁸ Yet a number of men - escapees from the sword return from the land of Misrayim to the land of Yah Hudah; and all the survivors of Yah Hudah who enter the land of Misrayim to sojourn there, know whose words rise - mine or theirs. ²⁹ And this is your sign - an oracle of Yah Veh that I visit on you in this place, so that you know, that in rising, my words rise against you for evil. ³⁰ Thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I give Paroh Hophra sovereign of Misrayim into the hand of his enemies and into the hand of them who seek his soul: as I gave Sidqi Yah sovereign of Yah Hudah into the hand of Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel - his enemy who sought his soul.

² And he works evil in the eyes of Yah Veh according to all Yah Yaqim worked. ³ For because of the wrath of Yah Veh it is in Yeru Shalem and Yah Hudah, until he casts them from his face; and Sidqi Yah rebels against the sovereign of Babel. ⁴ And so be it, in the ninth year of his reign, in the tenth month, in the tenth of the month, Nebukadnets Tsar sovereign of Babel comes - he and all his valiant against Yeru Shalem and encamp against it; and builds battering towers against it all around: ⁵ thus the city comes under siege to the eleventh year of sovereign Sidqi Yah. ⁶ And in the fourth month, in the ninth of the month, the famine prevails in the city, and there is no bread for the people of the land. ⁷ Then the city splits and all the men of war flee; and go from the city by night by the way of the portal between the two walls by the garden of the sovereign - the Kesediym are all around the city; and they go by the way of the plain: ⁸ and the valiant of the Kesediym pursue the sovereign and overtake Sidqi Yah in the plains of Yericho; and all his valiant scatter from him: ⁹ and they apprehend the sovereign, and ascend him to the sovereign of Babel - to Riblah in the land of Hamath; where he words judgment on him. ¹⁰ And the sovereign of Babel slaughters the sons of Sidqi Yah in front of his eyes: he also slaughters all the governors of Yah Hudah in Riblah: ¹¹ and he blinds the eyes of Sidqi Yah; and the sovereign of Babel binds him in coppers and carries him to Babel; and gives him in the house of visitation until the day of his death.

¹² and the hierarch among them bears on his shoulder in the dusk, and goes forth: they dig through the wall to carry out thereby: he covers his face so that he sees not the earth with his eyes. ¹³ and I spread my net on him, and apprehend him in my lure: and I bring him to Babel to the land of the Kesediym; yet he sees it not, though he dies there: ¹⁴ and toward every wind I winnow all who are all around him to help him - and all his bands; and I draw out the sword after them: ¹⁵ and they know I - Yah Veh when I winnow them among the goyim and disperse them in the lands. ¹⁶ And I leave of them remaining from the sword from the famine and from the pestilence so that they scribe all their abhorrences among the goyim where they go; and they know I - Yah Veh.

¹¹ And so be the word of Yah Veh to me, saying, ¹² Say, I beseech, to the rebellious house, Know you not what these are? Tell, Behold, the sovereign of Babel comes to Yeru Shalem, and takes the sovereign and the governors and leads them with him to Babel: ¹³ and takes of the seed of the kingdom and cuts a covenant with him and takes an oath of him: he also takes the mighty of the land: ¹⁴ so that the sovereigndom becomes lowly - that it not lift itself; to guard his covenant, so that it stands. ¹⁵ And he rebels against him by sending his angels into Misrayim, so that they give him horses and much people. Prospers he? Escapes he who works such? Or, breaks he the covenant and escapes? ¹⁶ I live - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh in the place of the sovereign who has him reign - whose oath he despises and whose covenant he breaks, dies he not with him midst Babel? ¹⁷ Not even Paroh with his great valiant and great congregation works for him in the war by pouring mounds, and building battering towers to cut off many souls: ¹⁸ seeing he despises the oath by breaking the covenant, and behold, he gives his hand to work all these; he escapes not. ¹⁹ So thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I live! My oath that he despises, and my covenant that he breaks, give I not on his own head? ²⁰ And I spread my net on him and apprehend him in my lure; and I bring him to Babel, and there I plead with him for the treason he treasons against me: ²¹ and all his fugitives with all his bands fall by the sword; and scatter them who survive toward all winds: and you know that I Yah Veh have worded.
