² One basket of mighty good figs, as the first ripe figs: and the one basket of mighty evil figs, which are not eaten, for evil.

⁴ What more work I to my vineyard that I worked not therein? Why, when I awaited it to work grapes, worked it stinkweeds?

⁷ For the vineyard of Yah Veh Sabaoth is the house of Yisra El, and the men of Yah Hudah his plant of delights: and he awaits judgment; and behold, oppression: for justness; and behold, a cry.

⁵ Thus says Yah Veh, Elohim of Yisra El; As these good figs, thus I acknowledge the exiles of Yah Hudah - whom I sent from this place into the land of the Kesediym for good: ⁶ and I set my eyes on them for good, and I return them to this land: and I build them, and not break; and I plant them, and not uproot: ⁷ and I give them a heart to know me, I - Yah Veh: and they are my people, and I am their Elohim: for they return to me with their whole heart. ⁸ And as the evil figs, not eaten for their evil, thus says Yah Veh: Thus I give Sidqi Yah the sovereign of Yah Hudah and his governors and the survivors of Yeru Shalem who survive in this land - who settle in the land of Misrayim: ⁹ and I give them for an agitation into all the sovereigndoms of the earth for evil - a reproach and a proverb - a gibe and an abasement in all places I drive them: ¹⁰ and I send the sword the famine and the pestilence among them - until they are consumed from off the soil - I give to them and to their fathers.

¹⁷ thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: Behold, I send on them the sword the famine and the pestilence; and give them as putrified figs, not eaten for their evil:

² Son of humanity, what is the vine tree more than any tree, - a twig among the trees of the forest? ³ Is timber taken to work any work? Or a stake taken to hang any instrument thereon? ⁴ Behold, it is given into the fire for fuel; the fire consumes both the ends thereof and scorches the midst thereof. Prospers it for work? ⁵ Behold, in being integrious, it works no work: How much less work works it when the fire consumes and scorches?

¹⁰ I find Yisra El as grapes in the wilderness; I see your fathers as the firstripe in the fig tree at her beginning: they - they go to Baal Peor, and separate themselves to shame - their abominations are as their love.

WOE IS YISRA EL
Woe is me! As the ingathering of the summer fruits; as the gleanings of the crop; there is no cluster to eat: my soul desires the firstling fruit:

¹² And you profane it, saying, The table of Yah Veh is profane; and the fruit, his food, contemptible. ¹³ You also say, Behold, what trouble! and you puff at it, says Yah Veh Sabaoth; and you bring the stripped and the lame and the sick. Thus bring you an offering: of your hand that pleases? says Yah Veh. ¹⁴ And cursed is the deceiver who has a male in his drove; and vows and sacrifices a ruin to Adonay: for I am a great Sovereign, says Yah Veh Sabaoth; and my name is awesome among the goyim.
