RESUME' OF IDOLATRIES Remember and forget not how you enraged Yah Veh your Elohim in the wilderness: from the day you departed from the land of Misrayim until you came to this place you are rebellious against Yah Veh.

¹⁶ and Yah Veh says to Mosheh, Behold, you lie with your fathers; and this people rises and whores after the elohim of the strangers of the land among whom they go; and forsake me: and break the covenant I cut with them:

¹² and they forsake Yah Veh Elohim of their fathers who brought them from the land of Misrayim: and they go after other elohim - of the elohim of the people all around them; and prostrate themselves to them, and vex Yah Veh: ¹³ and they forsake Yah Veh and serve Baal and Ashtaroth.

¹⁷ and they also hearken not to their judges: and they whore after other elohim and prostrate themselves to them: they turn aside hastily from the way their fathers walked hearing the misvoth of Yah Veh - thus they work not.

¹⁹ And so be it, at the death of the judge, they return, more ruinous than their fathers, by going after other elohim to serve them and to prostrate to them; they neither fall from their exploits nor from their hard way.

¹¹ I sigh that I have Shaul to reign sovereign: for he turns back from after me and raises not my words. - and it inflames Shemu El and he cries to Yah Veh all night.

⁷ And so be it, the sons of Yisra El sin against Yah Veh their Elohim - who ascended them from the land of Misrayim from under the hand of Paroh sovereign of Misrayim - and they awe other elohim ⁸ which they work: and walk in the statutes of the goyim whom Yah Veh dispossessed from the face of the sons of Yisra El and from the sovereigns of Yisra El: ⁹ and the sons of Yisra El covertly work words that are not right against Yah Veh their Elohim: and they build bamahs in all their cities from the tower of the guards to the fortified city: ¹⁰ and they station monoliths and asherim in every high hill and under every green tree: ¹¹ and incense there in all the bamahs as the goyim whom Yah Veh exiled from their face; and work evil words to vex Yah Veh: ¹² and serve idols, whereof Yah Veh said to them, Work not this word! ¹³ And Yah Veh witnesses against Yisra El and against Yah Hudah, by the hand of all the prophets and by all the seers, saying, Turn from your evil ways and guard my misvoth and my statutes, according to all the torah I misvahed your fathers - which I send to you by the hand of my servants the prophets. ¹⁴ And they hearken not, and harden their necks, as the neck of their fathers, who trusted not in Yah Veh their Elohim: ¹⁵ and they refuse his statutes and his covenant which he cut with their fathers and his witnesses which he witnessed against them; and they go after vanity and become vain and go after the goyim all around them - to whom Yah Veh misvahed to not work like them: ¹⁶ and they leave all the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim; and work moltens - two calves and work an asherah and prostrate to all the host of the heavens and serve Baal: ¹⁷ and they pass their sons and their daughters through the fire; and divine divination and prognostications and sell themselves to work evil in the eyes of Yah Veh - to vex him. ¹⁸ So Yah Veh angers mightily at Yisra El and turns them aside from his face: none survive except only, the scion of Yah Hudah: ¹⁹ Yah Hudah also guards not the misvoth of Yah Veh their Elohim but walks in the statutes Yisra El works. ²⁰ And Yah Veh refuses all the seed of Yisra El and humbles them; and gives them into the hand of plunderers until he casts them from his face:

³⁰ and the sovereign ascends to the house of Yah Veh with all the Yah Hudiy and the settlers of Yeru Shalem and the priests and the Leviym and all the people from great to small: and he calls out in their ears all the words of the scroll of the covenant they found in the house of Yah Veh. ³¹ And the sovereign stands in his station and cuts a covenant at the face of Yah Veh - to walk after Yah Veh and to guard his misvoth and his witnesses and his statutes with all his heart and with all his soul - to work the words of the covenant inscribed in this scroll. ³² And he has all who are found in Yeru Shalem and Ben Yamin to stand to it: and the settlers of Yeru Shalem work according to the covenant of Elohim the Elohim of their fathers. ³³ And Yoshi Yah turns aside all the abhorrences from all the lands of the sons of Yisra El; and has all who are found in Yisra El to serve - to serve Yah Veh their Elohim: and all his days, they turn not aside from after Yah Veh the Elohim of their fathers.

⁸ and not be as their fathers - a revolting and rebellious generation - a generation that prepared not their heart - whose spirit was not trustworthy with El. ⁹ The sons of Ephrayim, armed, hurling bows, turn back in the day of battle; ¹⁰ they guard not the covenant of Elohim and refuse to walk in his torah;

⁵⁷ and apostatized and dealt covertly as their fathers - turned aside as a deceitful bow:

And Yah Veh says to me in the days of Yoshi Yah the sovereign, See you what apostate Yisra El works? She goes on every high mountain and under every green tree, and whores there. ⁷ And I say, after she works all these, You, return to me. - and she returns not. And her covert sister Yah Hudah sees: ⁸ and I see, when for all the causes whereby apostate Yisra El adulterized I sent her away and gave her a scroll of divorce; yet her sister Yah Hudah who deals covertly awes not, and goes and whores also. ⁹ And so be it, through the voice of her whoredom she profanes the land, and adulterizes with stones and with timber. ¹⁰ And yet for all this her sister Yah Hudah who deals covertly returns not to me with her whole heart, but in falsehood - an oracle of Yah Veh. ¹¹ And Yah Veh says to me, The apostate Yisra El justifies her soul more than Yah Hudah who deals covertly.

³² not according to the covenant I cut with their fathers in the day I held them by the hand to bring them from the land of Misrayim - my covenant which they broke, although I was their master - an oracle of Yah Veh:

⁵⁹ For thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I work with you as you work - who despise the oath to break the covenant.

¹⁸ But I say to their sons in the wilderness, Neither walk in the statutes of your fathers nor guard their judgments nor foul yourselves with their idols: ¹⁹ I - Yah Veh your Elohim! Walk in my statutes and guard my judgments and work them; ²⁰ and hallow my shabbaths; to become a sign between me and between you, so that you know I - Yah Veh your Elohim. ²¹ And the sons rebel against me: and they neither walk in my statutes nor guard my judgments to work them - which, if a human works, he lives in them: they profane my shabbaths. And I say, I pour my fury on them to accomplish my wrath against them in the wilderness.

⁷ in that you bring in sons of strangers uncircumcised in heart and uncircumcised in flesh to be in my holies, to profane it - my house, when you oblate my bread, the fat and the blood, and they break my covenant with all your abhorrences:

THE RESPONSE OF YAH VEH
O Ephrayim, what work I to you? O Yah Hudah, what work I to you? For your mercy is as a morning cloud, and as the early dew, goes away.

⁷ And they, as humanity, trespass the covenant: there they deal covertly against me.

¹⁶ they return, but not to Elyon: they are as a deceitful bow: their governors fall by the sword for the rage of their tongue: this is their derision in the land of Misrayim.

⁶ and they who apostatize from Yah Veh - who neither seek Yah Veh nor enquire of him.

⁴ Become not as your fathers to whom the former prophets called out, saying thus: - an oracle of Yah Veh Sabaoth Turn, I beseech, from your evil ways and from your evil exploits! - and they neither heard nor hearkened to me - an oracle of Yah Veh.

⁵¹ You hardnaped and noncircumcised in heart and ears, you ever oppose the Holy Spirit. As your fathers, also you. ⁵² Which of the prophets have your fathers not persecuted? And they slaughtered them who pre-evangelized concerning the coming of the Just - of whom you now become traitors and murderers:

⁹ not according to the covenant I made with their fathers in the day I held their hand to lead them from the land of Misrayim - because they abode not in my covenant and I also disregarded them, words Yah Veh.
