¹⁷ O Yah Veh, why stray us from your ways? Harden our heart from your awe? For sake of your servant, return the scions of your inheritance.

³⁶ And when it rests, he says, Return, O Yah Veh, to the myriads of Yisra El.

³⁰ But Sichon sovereign of Heshbon willed to not let us pass by him: for Yah Veh your Elohim hardened his spirit and strengthened his heart, to give him into your hand, as this day.

²⁰ For it was of Yah Veh to callous their hearts - to meet Yisra El in war - to devote them, so that they have no supplication but that he destroy them - as Yah Veh misvahed Mosheh.

¹ On Comprehension: By Asaph. O Elohim, why cast us off in perpetuity? why smoke your wrath against the flock of your pasture? ² Remember the witness you chattelized of antiquity - the scion of your inheritance you redeemed - this mount Siyon wherein you tabernacle.

¹⁴ Return, we beseech you, O Elohim Sabaoth; look down from the heavens and see and visit this vine

¹³ Return, O Yah Veh! Until when? Sigh concerning your servants!

¹⁰ With my whole heart I sought you; that I not err inadvertantly from your misvoth:

³⁶ spread my heart to your witnesses and not to greed:

⁴ spread not my heart to any evil word - to exploit wicked exploits with men who work mischief - that I not eat of their delicacies.

¹⁰ Fatten the heart of this people and burden their ears and stroke their eyes; lest they see with their eyes and hear with their ears and discern with their heart - and convert and heal.

¹³ Adonay says, Because as this people draws near with their mouth and with their lips honor me - and remove their heart far from me, and their fear toward me is taught by the misvah of men

⁷ for each man of the house of Yisra El or of the sojourner who sojourns in Yisra El, who separates himself from after me, and ascends his idols in his heart, and sets the stumblingblock of his perversity at his face, and goes to a prophet to inquire of him concerning me; I Yah Veh answer him by myself: ⁸ and I give my face against that man and desolate him - a sign and a proverb and I cut him off from midst my people; and you know I - Yah Veh. ⁹ And if the prophet, when he is deluded, and words a word, I Yah Veh delude that prophet, and I spread my hand on him, and desolate him from midst my people Yisra El.

¹² And the angel of Yah Veh answers and says, O Yah Veh Sabaoth, how long mercy you not Yeru Shalem and the cities of Yah Hudah, against whom you enraged these seventy years?

⁴⁰ He blinds their eyes, and petrifies their heart; that they neither see with their eyes nor comprehend with their heart and return, and I heal them.

¹⁸ So, whomever he wills, he mercies; and whomever he wills, he hardens. ¹⁹ So you say to me, Why blames he still? For who withstands his counsel? ²⁰ Yet so, O humanity, who are you to contradict Elohim? Says the molded to the molder, Why made you me thus?

¹¹ And for this cause Elohim sends them an energized seduction so that they trust a lie: ¹² to judge all who trust not the truth, who well-approve injustice.
