Isaiah 58:13 Cross References - ECB

13 If you turn away your foot from the shabbath from working your delight on my holy day; and call the shabbath, a luxury and the holy of Yah Veh, honorable and honor him; neither working your own ways nor finding your own delight nor wording your own words,

Exodus 20:8-11

8 Remember the shabbath day, to hallow it: 9 six days you serve and work all your work: 10 but the seventh day is the shabbath of Yah Veh your Elohim: work no work therein; neither you, nor your son, nor your daughter, nor your servant, nor your maid, nor your animals, nor your sojourner within your portals: 11 for in six days Yah Veh worked the heavens and earth, the sea and all therein; and rested the seventh day: so Yah Veh blessed the shabbath day and hallowed it.

Exodus 31:13-17

13 Word also to the sons of Yisra El, saying, Only, guard my shabbaths: for it is a sign between me and between you throughout your generations; that you know I - Yah Veh hallow you: 14 guard the shabbath; for it is holy to you: everyone who profanes it, in deathifiying, is deathified: for whoever works any work therein, that soul becomes cut off from among his people. 15 Six days you work your work; the seventh day is the shabbath of shabbathism - holy to Yah Veh: whoever works any work in the shabbath day, in deathifiying, deathify him. 16 And the sons of Yisra El guard the shabbath, to work the shabbath throughout their generations, for an eternal covenant 17 - a sign between me and between the sons of Yisra El eternally: for in six days Yah Veh worked the heavens and earth and on the seventh day he shabbathized and refreshed.

12 Guard the shabbath day to hallow it, as Yah Veh your Elohim misvahed you. 13 Six days you serve and work all your work: 14 but the seventh day is the shabbath of Yah Veh your Elohim: never work any work therein, - you, your son, your daughter, your servant, your maid, your ox, your he burro, your animals, your sojourner within your portals; that your servant and your maid rest as well as you. 15 And remember that you were a servant in the land of Misrayim and that Yah Veh your Elohim brought you from there by a strong hand and by a spread arm: so Yah Veh your Elohim misvahs you to guard the shabbath day.

Nehemiah 13:15-22

15 In those days in Yah Hudah I see them treading wine presses on the shabbath - and bringing in heaps and lading he burros and also wine, grapes and figs and all the burdens they bring into Yeru Shalem on the shabbath day: and I witness the day they sell hunt: 16 and the Soriy settle therein bringing fish and all manner of price and sell on the shabbath to the sons of Yah Hudah and in Yeru Shalem. 17 And I contend with the nobles of Yah Hudah and say to them, What evil word is this that you work and profane the shabbath day? 18 Worked not your fathers thus and brought not our Elohim all this evil on us and on this city? And you add fuming on Yisra El by profaning the shabbath. 19 And so be it, the portals of Yeru Shalem begin to overshadow at the face of the shabbath, and I say to shut the gates and say to not open until after the shabbath: and I stand my lads at the portals, that no burden is brought in on the shabbath day. 20 And the merchants and sellers of all sales stay overnight outside Yeru Shalem one time or twice. 21 And I witness against them and say to them, Why stay you overnight opposite the wall? If you repeat, I spread hands on you. - from that time they come not on the shabbath. 22 And I say to the Leviym to purify and to come and guard the portals to hallow the shabbath day. Remember me, O my Elohim, this also; and spare me according to the greatness of your mercy.

Isaiah 56:2-6

2 Blithesome - the man who works this and the son of humanity who lays hold thereon; who guards from profaning the shabbath and guards his hand from working any evil. 3 Neither let the son of the stranger, who joins himself to Yah Veh, say, saying, In separating, Yah Veh separated me from his people: nor let the eunuch say, Behold, I am a dry tree. 4 For thus says Yah Veh to the eunuchs who guard my shabbaths and choose what delights me and hold my covenant; 5 I give them in my house and within my walls a hand and a name better than of sons and of daughters: I give them an eternal name that is not cut off. 6 And sons of the stranger who join themselves to Yah Veh to minister to him and to love the name of Yah Veh - to be his servants, every one who guards from profaning the shabbath and holds my covenant;

Jeremiah 17:21-27

21 Thus says Yah Veh, Guard your souls; and neither bear a burden on the shabbath day nor bring it in by the portals of Yeru Shalem: 22 neither carry forth a burden from your houses on the shabbath day nor work any work; but hallow the shabbath day as I misvahed your fathers: 23 and they neither hearken nor spread their ear; and harden their neck so that they neither hear nor take discipline. 24 And so be it, in hearkening, if ye hearken to me - an oracle of Yah Veh to bring in no burden through the portals of this city on the shabbath day - and hallow the shabbath day to work no work therein; 25 then there enter the portals of this city sovereigns and governors on the throne of David riding in chariots and on horses - they and their governors - the men of Yah Hudah and the settlers of Yeru Shalem: and they settle this city eternally: 26 and they come from the cities of Yah Hudah and all around Yeru Shalem and from the land of Ben Yamin and from the lowland and from the mountains and from the south - bringing holocausts and sacrifices and offerings and incense; and bringing spread hands to the house of Yah Veh. 27 And if you hearken not to me to hallow the shabbath day, and to not bear a burden, even entering at the portals of Yeru Shalem on the shabbath day; then I kindle a fire in the portals; and it consumes the citadels of Yeru Shalem, and quenches not.
