THE RESTORATION OF YISRA EL
Thus says Yah Veh, In a time of pleasure I answered you; and in a day of salvation I helped you: and I guard you and give you for a covenant of the people to raise the earth; to have them inherit the desolated inheritances;

¹⁷ Your sons hasten; your demolishers and they who parched you go from you.

²⁵ For thus says Yah Veh, Even the captives of the mighty are taken and the prey of the tyrant is rescued: for I contend with him who contends with you and I save your sons: ²⁶ and they who oppress you, I feed with their own flesh; and intoxicate with their own blood as with squeezed juice: that all flesh know I - Yah Veh your Saviour and your Redeemer, the Almighty One of Yaaqov.

³ For Yah Veh sighs over Siyon: he sighs over all her parched areas; and he sets her wilderness as Eden and her plain as the garden of Yah Veh; rejoicing, yes, and cheerfulness are found therein - spread hands and the voice of psalm.

THE GLORY OF SIYON
Shout, O sterile; you who birth not! Break forth into shouting and resound, you who writhe not! for more are the sons of the desolated than the sons of the married, says Yah Veh. ² Enlarge the place of your tent, and spread the curtains of your tabernacles: Spare not! Lengthen your cords! Strengthen your stakes!

¹⁶ So all who consume you are consumed; and all your tribulators - every one of them go into captivity; and they who plunder you, are plundered; and all who plunder you, I give for a plunder:

¹⁸ Thus says Yah Veh: Behold, I restore the captivity of the tents of Yaaqov and mercy his tabernacles; and build the city on her own heap, and settle the citadel according to the judgment. ¹⁹ And spread hands proceed from them and the voice of them who ridicule: and I abound them and they diminish not; I honor them, and they are not belittled:

¹⁰ Thus says Yah Veh: Again it is heard in this place, which you say is parched dry without humanity and without animal - in the cities of Yah Hudah and in the outways of Yeru Shalem that are desolated - without humanity and without settler and without animal, ¹¹ The voice of rejoicing and the voice of cheerfulness; the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; the voice of them who say, Spread hands to Yah Veh Sabaoth: for Yah Veh is good; for his mercy is eternal: - who bring spread hands to the house of Yah Veh. For I restore the captivity of the land as at the first, says Yah Veh.

³³ For thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth Elohim of Yisra El: The daughter of Babel is as a threshingfloor; it is time to tread her: yet a little while, and the time of her harvest comes.

⁴⁴ And I visit on Bel in Babel, and from his mouth I bring forth what he swallowed: and the goyim flow together to him no more: yes, the wall of Babel falls.

³ so prophesy and say, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because - yes, because they desolate you and swallow you all around to be a possession to the survivors of the goyim, and ascend you on the lips of tongues - a slander of the people:

⁹ For, behold, I am for you and I face to you; and serve and seed you: ¹⁰ and I abound humanity on you - all the house of Yisra El - all thereof to settle the cities and build the parched areas: ¹¹ and I abound on you humanity and animal; and they abound and bear fruit: and I settle you after your former estates and do better to you than at your beginnings: and you know I - Yah Veh. ¹² Yes, I walk humanity all over you - my people Yisra El; and they possess you and you become their inheritance; and you add not to bereave them. ¹³ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: Because they say to you, You eat humans and bereave your goyim: ¹⁴ So you neither eat humans any more nor bereave your goyim any more - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh ¹⁵ - nor hear the shame of the goyim any more nor bear the reproach of the people any more nor that your goyim falter any more - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh.

FROM LO AMMI TO SONS OF EL
And the number of the sons of Yisra El is as the sand of the sea - neither measured nor scribed: and so be it, in the place where it says to them, Lo Ammi there it says to them, You are the sons of the living El: ¹¹ and the sons of Yah Hudah and the sons of Yisra El gather together, and set themselves one head, and they ascend from the land: for great is the day of Yizre El.

⁴ and says to him, Run! Word to yonder lad, saying, Yeru Shalem settles the suburbs because of the abundance of humanity and animals midst her:

¹¹ And many goyim join Yah Veh in that day, and become my people: and I dwell midst you; and you know that Yah Veh Sabaoth sent me to you:

¹⁰ I return them from the land of Misrayim, and gather them from Ashshur; and I bring them into the land of Gilad and Lebanon; and naught is found for them.
