³⁴ Then I shabbathize from the cities of Yah Hudah, and from the outways of Yeru Shalem, the voice of rejoicing and the voice of cheerfulness; the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride - for the land becomes parched.

⁹ For thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth, Elohim of Yisra El; Behold, from this place - in your eyes and in your days I shabbathize the voice of rejoicing and the voice of cheerfulness: the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride.

¹⁰ I destroy from them the voice of rejoicing and the voice of cheerfulness; the voice of the bridegroom and the voice of the bride; the voice of the millstones and the light of the lamp:

¹³ And I shabbathize the roar of your songs and the voice of your harps are heard no more:

⁴ The sons of Yisra El settle for many days with no sovereign and no governor; no sacrifice, no monolith, no ephod, no teraphim:

¹ Neither cheer, O Yisra El; nor twirl as people: for you whore from your Elohim, you love a payoff on every crop threshingfloor. ² The threshingfloor and the trough, they tend not and the juice in her deceives: ³ they settle not in the land of Yah Veh; and Ephrayim returns to Misrayim, and they eat the foul in Ashshur. ⁴ They neither libate wine to Yah Veh, nor please him: their sacrifices are to them as the bread of mischief; all who eat are fouled: for their bread for their soul comes not into the house of Yah Veh. ⁵ What work you in the day of the season and in the day of the celebration of Yah Veh?

⁵ saying, When passes the new moon, to market kernels? - the shabbath, to open grain? - to lessen the ephah and greaten the shekel? - to twist the balances by deceit?

⁹ And so be it, in that day, - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh that I decend the sun at noon and I darken the earth in the light of day: ¹⁰ and I turn your celebrations into mourning and all your songs into lamentation; and I ascend saq on all loins and baldness on every head; and I set it as the mourning of an only one and the end as a bitter day.

¹⁰ For while they entwine as thorns, and while they carouse as carousers, they are consumed as stubble fully dry.

²² and the voice of citherists and musicians and of flutists and trumpeters are never ever no way still heard in you; and any technician of whatever technique, are never ever no way still found in you; and the voice of a millstone are never ever no way still heard in you; ²³ and the light of a candle are never ever no way still manifested in you; and the voice of the bridegroom and of the bride are never ever no way still heard in you: because your merchants are the magistrates of the earth; because in your pharmacies all goyim are seduced:
