MEMORIAL DAY
And this day becomes your memorial: celebrate a celebration to Yah Veh throughout your generations; celebrate by an eternal statute:

⁹ - and it becomes a sign for you on your hand and for a memorial between your eyes, that the torah of Yah Veh is in your mouth: for with a strong hand Yah Veh brings you from Misrayim.

⁴ And Mosheh inscribes all the words of Yah Veh and starts early in the morning and builds a sacrifice altar under the mountain and twelve monoliths for the twelve scions of Yisra El:

²⁷ And Yah Veh says to Mosheh, Inscribe these words: for after the mouth of these words I cut a covenant with you and with Yisra El.

And he sees Amaleq, and lifts his proverb and says, Amaleq, the first of the goyim; and his finality, eternal destruction.

² and Mosheh inscribes their proceedings according to their journeys by the mouth of Yah Veh: and these are their journeys according to their proceedings.

¹⁷ Remember what Amaleq worked to you by the way when you came forth from Misrayim ¹⁸ - how he happened on you by the way and curtailed you - even all the weak behind you as you languished and belaboured - and he awed not Elohim. ¹⁹ So be it, when Yah Veh your Elohim rests you from all your enemies all around, in the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you - an inheritance to possess - to wipe out the memorial of Amaleq from under the heavens; forget it not.

MOSHEH INSCRIBES THE TORAH And Mosheh inscribes this torah; and gives it to the priests the sons of Levi who bear the ark of the covenant of Yah Veh and to all the elders of Yisra El.

⁷ Then you say to them, Because of the waters of Yarden being cut off at the face of the ark of the covenant of Yah Veh; when it passed over Yarden the waters of Yarden being cut off: and these stones become a memorial to the sons of Yisra El eternally.

² Thus says Yah Veh Sabaoth: I visit what Amaleq worked to Yisra El - how he set for him in the way in ascending from Misrayim. ³ Now go and smite Amaleq and devote all they have and spare them not; deathify both man and woman, from suckling and infant, ox and lamb, camel and he burro.

⁷ And Shaul smites the Amaleq from Havilah until you come to Shur at the face of Misrayim: ⁸ and he apprehends alive Agag the sovereign of the Amaleq and devotes all the people with the mouth of the sword.

¹⁸ And Yah Veh sends you on a journey, and says, Go and devote the sinners the Amaleq! Fight them until you finish them off!

⁸ And David and his men ascend and strip the Geshuriy and the Gezeriy and the Amaleqiy: for they are originally the settlers of the land as you go to Shur to the land of Misrayim: ⁹ and David smites the land and leaves neither man nor woman alive; and takes away the flock and the oxen and the he burros and the camels and the covering and returns and comes to Achish.

DAVID DESTROYS THE AMALEQIY
And so be it, on the third day, David and his men come to Siqlag: and the Amaleqiy strip the south and Siqlag and smite Siqlag and burn it with fire

¹⁷ And David smites them from the evening breeze to the evening of the morrow: and not a man of them escapes except four hundred lads flee riding on camels.

DAVID HEARS OF THE DEATH OF SHAUL
And so be it, after the death of Shaul, David returns from the smiting of the Amaleqiy and David settles two days in Siqlag:

⁸ And he says to me, Who are you? And I say to him, I am an Amaleqiy. ⁹ And he says to me, Stand, I beseech you, over me and slay me: for my embroidered mail possesses me, because my soul is yet whole in me. ¹⁰ - and I stand over him and deathify him, because I know he lives not after he falls: and I take the separatism on his head and the anklet on his arm and bring them here to my adoni. ¹¹ And David holds his clothes and rips them; and also all the men with him: ¹² and they chop and weep and fast until evening for Shaul and for Yah Nathan his son and for the people of Yah Veh and for the house of Yisra El; because they fall by the sword. ¹³ And David says to the young man who tells him, Whence are you? And he says, I am the son of a man - a sojourner - an Amaleqiy. ¹⁴ And David says to him, How is it you awed not to send your hand to ruin the anointed of Yah Veh? ¹⁵ And David calls one of the lads and says, Go near, encounter on him. - and he smites him so that he dies. ¹⁶ And David says to him, Your blood is on your head; for your mouth answers against you, saying, I deathified the anointed of Yah Veh.

¹² - of Aram and of Moab and of the sons of Ammon and of the Peleshethiy and of Amaleq and of the spoil of Hadad Ezer son of Rechob sovereign of Sobah.

⁴³ And they smite the survivors of the Amaleqiy - of the escapees and settle there to this day.

¹⁴ - return we to break your misvoth and intermarry with the people of these abhorrences? Are you not angry with us - to finish us off so that there is neither survivor nor escapee?

¹⁷ his memorial destructs from the earth and he has no name at the face of the outways:

⁶ O you enemy, your parched areas consummate in perpetuity; and the cities you uprooted - their memorial destructs with them.

⁷ The memorial of the just is for blessings; and the name of the wicked rots.

² Speak now to Zerub Babel the son of Shealti El governor of Yah Hudah, and to Yah Shua the son of Yah Sadaq the great priest, and to the survivors of the people, saying, ³ Who among you survives - who saw this house in her first honor? And how see you now? Likens it not in your eyes as naught?
