⁴ Say not in your heart, after Yah Veh your Elohim expels them from your face, saying, Because of my justness Yah Veh brings me in to possess this land: but because of the wickedness of these goyim Yah Veh dispossesses them from your face.

¹⁶ and in the fourth generation they return here: for the perversity of the Emoriy is not yet at shalom.

²⁴ Foul not yourselves in any of these: for in all these the goyim foul - whom I sent away from your face: ²⁵ and the land fouled: so I visit the perversity thereof thereon; and the land itself vomits them who settle her. ²⁶ Guard my statutes and my judgments and work not any of these abhorrences - native and sojourner sojourning among you: ²⁷ for the men of the land at your face worked all these abhorrences and fouled the land; ²⁸ lest the land vomits you, when you foul it, as it vomited the goyim at your face. ²⁹ For whoever works any of these abhorrences, even the souls that work them are cut off from among their people. ³⁰ So guard my guard, that you work none of these abhorrent statutes, which are worked at your face and that you not foul yourselves therein: I - Yah Veh your Elohim.

⁷ Yah Veh neither attached himself to you nor chose you because you were more abundant than any people - for you were the fewest of all people: ⁸ but because of the love of Yah Veh to you and because of guarding the oath he oathed to your fathers, Yah Veh brought you out with a strong hand and redeemed you from the house of servants - from the hand of Paroh sovereign of Misrayim.

¹⁷ and you said in your heart, My force and the might of my hand worked me this valour.

⁵ Not for your justness, or for the straightness of your heart go you to possess their land: but for the wickedness of these goyim Yah Veh your Elohim dispossesses them from your face - to raise the word Yah Veh oathed to your fathers - Abraham, Yischaq and Yaaqov:

³¹ Work not thus to Yah Veh your Elohim: for every abhorrence Yah Veh hates, they worked to their elohim; even burning their sons and their daughters in the fire to their elohim.

THE TORAH ON APOSTATIZING When you come to the land Yah Veh your Elohim gives you, learn to not work after the abhorrences of those goyim. ¹⁰ lest you find any among you who passes his son or his daughter through the fire or a diviner or a cloudgazer or a prognosticater or a sorcerer ¹¹ or a charmer who charms or an inquirer of a necromancer or a knower or an inquirer of the deathified: ¹² for all who work these are an abhorrence to Yah Veh: and because of these abhorrences Yah Veh your Elohim dispossesses them from your face. ¹³ Be integrious with Yah Veh your Elohim: ¹⁴ for these goyim, whom you possess, hearken to cloudgazers and to diviners: but as for you, Yah Veh your Elohim gives you not thus.

²² So say to the house of Yisra El, Thus says Adonay Yah Veh: I work this, not for your sakes, O house of Yisra El, but for sake of my holy name - which you profane among the goyim, wherever you go:

³² I work this not for your sakes - an oracle of Adonay Yah Veh thus be it known to you: shame and confound for your own ways, O house of Yisra El.

⁶ and if by charism, it is not still by works: otherwise charism is not still by charism: and if by works, it is not still by charism: otherwise work is not still by work.

²⁰ Well! Because of trustlessness, they were exscinded and by trust, you stand. Be not highminded, but awe:

⁴ For I am aware of naught; yet I am not justified herein: but he who judges me is Adonay.

⁷ For who distinguishes you? And what have you that you have not taken? and if you have taken, why boast as if you had not taken?

⁴ and Elohim, being rich in mercy, for his vast love wherewith he loved us, ⁵ even being dead in backslidings, co-enlivened us with the Messiah - by charism you are saved;

⁹ who saved us and called us with an holy calling - not according to our works but according to his own prothesis and charism given us in Messiah Yah Shua preceding eternal time;

³ For we ourselves sometimes also are: mindless, distrusting, seduced, - serving divers pantings and pleasures, passing through in malice and envy, - hateful - hating one another. ⁴ And when the kindness and philanthropy of Elohim our Saviour appeared ⁵ - not by works in justness which we did - but according to his mercy he saved us through the bathing of regenesis and renewing of the Holy Spirit;
