² and when Yah Veh your Elohim gives them at your face, smite them; and in devoting, devote them: neither cut a covenant with them nor grant charism to them:

²⁰ and blessed is El Elyon, who bucklers your tribulators into your hand. - and he gives him tithes of all.

²⁰ He who sacrifices to any elohim, except to Yah Veh only, in being devoted, devote him.

³² Neither cut covenant with them nor with their elohim: ³³ settle them not in your land lest they cause you to sin against me: for if you serve their elohim, it becomes a snare to you.

¹² guard yourself, lest you cut a covenant with them who settle the land where you go; lest it become a snare in your midst: ¹³ but pull down their sacrifice altars, break their monoliths and cut down their asherim: ¹⁴ for you prostrate to no other el: for Yah Veh, whose name is Zealous, is a zealous El:

¹⁶ and you take of their daughters to your sons and their daughters whore after their elohim and make your sons whore after their elohim.

²⁸ Only naught devoted - that a man devotes to Yah Veh of all he has - from human to animal and of the field of his possession is ever sold or redeemed: all that is devoted becomes a holy of holies to Yah Veh. ²⁹ Naught devoted - devoted by humanity, is redeemed: but in deathifying, is deathified.

⁵² dispossess them who settle the land from your face; and destroy all their imageries and desolate all their molten images and desolate all their bamahs:

³ So Yah Veh our Elohim also gave into our hands Og the sovereign of Bashan and all his people: and we smote him until no survivors survived:

²³ but Yah Veh your Elohim gives them at your face and quakes them with a great confusion, until they desolate: ²⁴ and he gives their sovereigns into your hand and you destroy their name from under the heavens: no man is able to stand at your face until you desolate them.

⁸ neither will to him nor hearken to him; your eye neither pity him nor spare him nor cover for him:

¹⁰ When you approach to a city to fight against it, call shalom to it: ¹¹ and so be it, if it answers you of shalom and opens to you, then so be it, all the people found therein become your vassals and serve you.

¹⁶ Only, of the cities of these people, Yah Veh your Elohim gives you - an inheritance, preserve naught alive that breathes: ¹⁷ but in devoting, devote them - the Hethiy and the Emoriy the Kenaaniy and the Perizziy the Hivviy and the Yebusiy as Yah Veh your Elohim misvahed you:

¹⁴ for Yah Veh your Elohim walks midst your camp to rescue you; and to give up your enemies at your face; so your camp is holy: so that he sees no word of nakedness in you and turns after you.

¹⁴ And the men say to her, Our soul dies for yours, if you tell not this word; and in giving, when Yah Veh gives us the land, we work mercy and truth with you.

¹⁷ And the city becomes devoted to Yah Veh - it and all therein: only, Rachab the whore lives - she and all with her in the house, because she hid the angels we sent. ¹⁸ And you, be on guard of the devoted, lest you become devoted when you take of the devotement; and set the camp of Yisra El a devotement, and trouble it. ¹⁹ But all the silver and gold and instruments of copper and iron, are holy to Yah Veh: they come into the treasury of Yah Veh. ²⁰ So the people shout and blast with the shophars: and so be it, when the people hear the voice of the shophar and the people shout with a great shouting the wall falls flat; so that the people ascended into the city; and every man straight in front of him captures the city: ²¹ and they devote all that is in the city - both man and woman - from lad to old man and ox and lamb and he burro with the mouth of the sword. ²² And to the two men who spied the land, Yah Shua says, Go into the house of the woman, and bring out the woman and all she has, as you oathed to her. ²³ And the lads, the spies go in, and bring out Rachab and her father and her mother and her brothers and all she has; and they bring out all her family, and leave them outside the camp of Yisra El: ²⁴ and they burn the city and all therein with fire: only, they give the silver and the gold and the instruments of copper and of iron to the treasury of the house of Yah Veh. ²⁵ And Yah Shua saves Rachab the whore alive with the household of her father and all she has; and she settles within Yisra El to this day; because she hid the angels Yah Shua sent to spy out Yericho.

²⁴ And so be it, Yisra El finishes slaughtering all the settlers of Ay in the field - in the wilderness where they pursue them; - they all fall on the mouth of the sword; until they are consumed: and all the Yisra Eliy return to Ay and smite it with the mouth of the sword.

¹⁸ and the sons of Yisra El smite them not because the hierarchs of the witness oathed to them by Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El. And all the witness murmurs against the hierarchs. ¹⁹ And all the hierarchs say to all the witness, We oathed to them by Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El: and now we are not able to touch them. ²⁰ This we work to them - that they live lest rage be on us, because of the oath we oathed to them. ²¹ And the hierarchs say to them, They live; and become choppers of timber and bailers of water to all the witness; as the hierarchs had worded them.

²⁴ And they answer Yah Shua, and say, In telling, your servants were told how Yah Veh your Elohim misvahed his servant Mosheh to give you all the land, and to desolate all the settlers of the land from your face; and we awed mightily of our souls at your face and worked this word:

²⁴ And so be it, they bring those sovereigns to Yah Shua; and Yah Shua calls for all the men of Yisra El, and says to the commanders of the men of war who come with him, Approach! Set your feet on the necks of these sovereigns. - and they approach and set their feet on their necks. ²⁵ And Yah Shua says to them, Neither awe nor terrify! Strengthen! Encourage! For thus Yah Veh works to all your enemies whom you fight.

²⁸ And that day Yah Shua captures Maqqedah, and smites it with the mouth of the sword; and devotes the sovereign thereof - them, and all the souls therein; - no survivors survive: and he works to the sovereign of Maqqedah as he worked to the sovereign of Yericho.

³⁰ and Yah Veh also gives it and the sovereign thereof into the hand of Yisra El; and he smites it and all the souls therein with the mouth of the sword; no survivors survive: and he works to the sovereign thereof as he worked to the sovereign of Yericho.

³² and Yah Veh gives Lachish into the hand of Yisra El - who capture it on the second day and smites it and all the souls therein with the mouth of the sword according to all he worked to Libnah.

⁴⁰ So Yah Shua smites all the land of the mountains and of the south and of the lowland and of the springs and all their sovereigns: no survivors survive, but devotes all having breath, as Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El misvahed.

⁴² and Yah Shua captures all these sovereigns and their land at one time; because Yah Veh Elohim of Yisra El fights for Yisra El.

¹¹ And they smite all the souls therein with the mouth of the sword - devoting them - no survivor having breath: and he burns Hasor with fire: ¹² and Yah Shua captures all the cities of those sovereigns and all their sovereigns, and smites them with the mouth of the sword - devoting them as Mosheh the servant of Yah Veh misvahed.

⁴⁴ And Yah Veh gives them rest all around, according to all he oathed to their fathers: and not a man of all their enemies stands at their face; Yah Veh gives all their enemies into their hand.

⁴ And Yah Hudah ascends; and Yah Veh gives the Kenaaniy and the Perizziy into their hand: and they smite them in Bezeq - ten thousand men.

²⁴ And the guards see a man leave the city and they say to him, Have us see, we beseech you, the entrance to the city and we work you mercy.

² and you, cut no covenant with the settlers of this land; pull down their sacrifice altars - and you hearken not to my voice: Why work you this?

² And the sovereign calls the Giboniy and says to them - now the Giboniy are not of the sons of Yisra El but of the remnant of the Emoriy - and the sons of Yisra El oathed to them: - and Shaul sought to smite them in his jealousy toward the sons of Yisra El and Yah Hudah:
