⁹ Then sovereign Bel Shats Tsar terrifies greatly and his cheerfulness changes in him; and his nobles are perplexed.

¹¹ Terrors frighten him all around and scatter him to his feet; ¹² his strength famishes and calamity prepares at his side. ¹³ It devours the strength of his veins - the firstbirthed of death devours his veins. ¹⁴ His confidence is torn from his tent and paces him to the sovereign of terrors.

¹⁴ yes, he sends his arrows and scatters them; he shoots lightnings and agitates them.

⁶ trembling holds them there - pangs, as of birthing.

⁶ You, howl! for the day of Yah Veh approaches; it comes as a ravage from Shadday. ⁷ So all hands slacken and every heart of man melts; ⁸ and they terrify: pains and pangs take hold of them; they writhe as a woman birthing: every man marvels at friend - their faces as flames.

² I am told a hard vision: the coverter coverts and the ravager ravages. Ascend, O Elam! Besiege, O Maday! I shabbathize all its sighing. ³ So my loins fill with pain: pangs hold me as pangs of a woman birthing: I twist at hearing; I terrify at seeing: ⁴ my heart staggers; trembling frightens me: he sets the evening breeze of my pleasure to tremble me.

²⁴ We hear the fame: our hands slacken: tribulation takes hold of us - pang, as in birthing.

⁶ ask, I beseech, and see, Is a male birthing? Why see I all the mighty with his hands on his loins as in birthing? - and all faces turn into pale green?

And in the second year of the sovereigndom of Nebukadnets Tsar, Nebukadnets Tsar dreams dreams which agitate his spirit; and his sleep breaks from him:

⁶ then the cheerfulness of the sovereign changes and his intentions terrify him - so that the vertebrae of his loins release, and his knees knock one against another.

⁸ and I alone remain and see this great vision; and no force remains in me: for the majesty in me turns into ruin and I retain no force:

³ When Herod the sovereign hears these, he is troubled - and all Yeru Shalem with him:

¹⁵ And the sovereigns of the earth and the magistrates and the rich and the chiliarchs and the able and all the servants and all the liberated secrete themselves in the grottos and in the rocks of the mountains:
