⁷ and Yah Veh wills to not ruin the house of David because of the covenant he cut with David; and as he says, to give him and his sons a lamp all days.

¹² And when your days fulfill and you lie down with your fathers, I raise your seed after you who come from your inwards; and I establish his sovereigndom: ¹³ he builds a house for my name and I establish the throne of his sovereigndom eternally. ¹⁴ I become to him, father and he becomes to me, son. If he perverts, I reprove him with the scion of men and with the plagues of the sons of humanity: ¹⁵ but my mercy turns not aside from him as I turned it aside from Shaul - whom I turned aside from your face: ¹⁶ and your house and your sovereigndom are permanent - eternally at your face: your throne is established eternally. ¹⁷ - according to all these words and according to all this vision, Nathan worded to David.

¹⁷ But Abi Shai the son of Seruyah helps him and smites the Peleshethiy and deathifies him. And the men of David oath to him, saying, Neither go anymore with us to war, nor quench the lamp of Yisra El.

⁵ Although my house is not so with El; yet he set an eternal covenant with me - aligned in all and guarded: for this is all my salvation and all my delight, although he sprouts it not.

¹³ only, I rip not away all the sovereigndom; but give one scion to your son for sake of David my servant and for sake of Yeru Shalem whom I chose.

³⁶ and to his son I give one scion; so David my servant has a lamp all days at my face in Yeru Shalem - the city I chose to set my name there.

¹⁹ yet Yah Veh wills to not ruin Yah Hudah for sake of David his servant, as he said to him, to give him, a lamp to his sons all days.

¹¹ and Yah Shabath the daughter of the sovereign takes Yah Ash the son of Achaz Yah and steals him from among the sons of the sovereign who are deathified and gives him and his suckler in a bedchamber: and Yah Shabath the daughter of sovereign Yah Ram the woman of Yah Yada the priest - for she is the sister of Achaz Yah hides him from the face of Athal Yah and she deathifies him not:

²⁸ I guard my mercy for him eternally and my trustworthy covenant with him; ²⁹ I set his seed eternal and his throne as the days of the heavens. ³⁰ If his sons forsake my torah and walk not in my judgments; ³¹ if they profane my statutes and guard not my misvoth; ³² then I visit their rebellion with the scion and their perversity with plagues: ³³ I neither void my mercy nor falsify my trustworthiness; ³⁴ neither profane my covenant nor alter the proceedings of my lips.

³⁹ you reject the covenant of your servant; you profane his separatism to the earth;

¹¹ Yah Veh oathed truth to David; he turns not from it: I set the fruit of your belly on your throne.

¹⁷ there I sprout the horn of David; I arrange a lamp for my anointed; ¹⁸ I enrobe his enemies with shame; and on him, his separatism flourishes.

⁶ We ascend against Yah Hudah and loathe it and split it for us, and reign a sovereign in their midst - the son of Tabe El. ⁷ Thus says Adonay Yah Veh, It neither rises, nor becomes:

²⁰ Thus says Yah Veh: If you break my covenant of the day and my covenant of the night so that there is no day and night in time; ²¹ then I also break my covenant with David my servant, that he has no son reigning on his throne; and with the Leviym the priests, my ministers. ²² As neither the host of the heavens is scribed, nor the sand of the sea measured: thus I abound the seed of David my servant, and the Leviym who minister to me. ²³ And so be the word of Yah Veh to Yirme Yah, saying, ²⁴ See you not what this people word, saying, The two families Yah Veh chose, he spurns? Thus they scorn my people, that they are no more a goyim at their face. ²⁵ Thus says Yah Veh: If my covenant is not day and night; if I set not the statutes of the heavens and earth; ²⁶ then I also spurn the seed of Yaaqov and David my servant, that I not take of his seed to be sovereigns over the seed of Abraham, Yischaq, and Yaaqov: for I restore their captivity, and mercy them.

⁶⁹ and raises a horn of salvation for us in the house of his lad David;

⁷⁹ to appear on them who sit in darkness and in the shadow of death; to direct our feet in the way of shalom.
