³ And he that sat was to the sight like the jasper and the sardine stone. And there was a rainbow round about the throne, in sight like unto an emerald.

¹³ I will set my bow in the clouds, and it shall be the sign of a covenant between me and between the earth. ¹⁴ And when I shall cover the sky with clouds, my bow shall appear in the clouds: ¹⁵ And I will remember my covenant with you, and with every living soul that beareth flesh: and there shall no more be waters of a flood to destroy all flesh. ¹⁶ And the bow shall be in the clouds, and I shall see it, and shall remember the everlasting covenant, that was made between God and every living soul of all flesh which is upon the earth.

¹⁰ And they saw the God of Israel: and under his feet as it were a work of sapphire stone, and as the heaven, when clear.

²⁸ As the appearance of the rainbow when it is in a cloud on a rainy day: this was the appearance of the brightness round about.

¹³ Thou wast in the pleasures of the paradise of God: every precious stone was thy covering: the sardius, the topaz, and the jasper, the chrysolite, and the onyx, and the beryl, the sapphire, and the carbuncle, and the emerald: gold the work of thy beauty: and thy pipes were prepared in the day that thou wast created.
