¹³² Look thou upon me, and have mercy on me according to the judgment of them that love thy name.

³³ And that he should be loved with the whole heart and with the whole understanding and with the whole soul and with the whole strength. And to love one's neighbour as one's self is a greater thing than all holocausts and sacrifices.

²⁴ Hitherto, you have not asked any thing in my name. Ask, and you shall receive; that your joy may be full.

¹⁷ He said to him the third time: Simon, son of John, lovest thou me? Peter was grieved because he had said to him the third time: Lovest thou me? And he said to him: Lord, thou knowest all things: thou knowest that I love thee. He said to him: Feed my sheep.

¹⁹ Let us therefore love God: because God first hath loved us.

² In this we know that we love the children of God: when we love God and keep his commandments. ³ For this is the charity of God: That we keep his commandments. And his commandments are not heavy.
