⁷ And when you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars, fear ye not. For such things must needs be: but the end is not yet.

¹⁴ We all die, and like waters that return no more, we fall down into the earth: neither will God have a soul to perish, but recalleth, meaning that he that is cast off should not altogether perish.

³ If armies in camp should stand together against me, my heart shall not fear. If a battle should rise up against me, in this will I be confident.

¹ Unto the end, for the sons of Core, for the hidden. ^(46:2) Our God is our refuge and strength: a helper in troubles, which have found us exceedingly. ^{2 (46:3)} Therefore we will not fear, when the earth shall be troubled; and the mountains shall be removed into the heart of the sea. ^{3 (46:4)} Their waters roared and were troubled: the mountains were troubled with his strength.

⁷ The just shall be in everlasting remembrance: he shall not fear the evil hearing. His heart is ready to hope in the Lord:

²⁵ Be not afraid of sudden fear, nor of the power of the wicked falling upon thee.

¹² Say ye not: A conspiracy: for all that this people speaketh, is a conspiracy: neither fear ye their fear, nor be afraid.

¹⁹ My bowels, my bowels are in part, the senses of my heart are troubled within me, I will not hold my peace, for my soul hath heard the sound of the trumpet, the cry of battle. ²⁰ Destruction upon destruction is called for, and all the earth is laid waste: my tents are destroyed on a sudden, and my pavilions in a moment. ²¹ How long shall I see men fleeing away, how long shall I hear the sound of the trumpet?

⁴⁶ And lest your hearts faint, and ye fear for the rumour that shall be heard in the land: and a rumour shall come in one year, and after this year another rumour: and iniquity in the land, and ruler upon ruler.

⁷ Woe to the world because of scandals. For it must needs be that scandals come: but nevertheless woe to that man by whom the scandal cometh.

⁶ And you shall hear of wars and rumours of wars. See that ye be not troubled. For these things must come to pass: but the end is not yet. ⁷ For nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom: And there shall be pestilences and famines and earthquakes in places.

⁹ And when you shall hear of wars and seditions, be not terrified. These things must first come to pass: but the end is not yet presently. ¹⁰ Then he said to them: Nation shall rise against nation, and kingdom against kingdom. ¹¹ And there shall be great earthquakes in divers places and pestilences and famines and terrors from heaven: and there shall be great signs.

¹ Let not your heart be troubled. You believe in God: believe also in me.

²⁷ Peace I leave with you: my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, do I give unto you. Let not your heart be troubled: nor let it be afraid.

³ Declaring and insinuating that the Christ was to suffer and to rise again from the dead; and that this is Jesus Christ, whom I preach to you.
