³⁰ Even thus shall it be in the day when the Son of man shall be revealed.

²⁷ For the Son of man shall come in the glory of his Father with his angels: and then will he render to every man according to his works.

³ And when he was sitting on mount Olivet, the disciples came to him privately, saying: Tell us when shall these things be? And what shall be the sign of thy coming and of the consummation of the world?

²⁷ For as lightning cometh out of the east and appeareth even into the west: so shall also the cowling of the Son of man be. ²⁸ Wheresoever the body shall be, there shall the eagles also be gathered together. ²⁹ And immediately after the tribulation of those days, the sun shall be darkened and the moon shall not give her light and the stars shall fall from heaven and the powers of heaven shall be moved. ³⁰ And then shall appear the sign of the Son of man in heaven. ³⁷ And as in the days of Noe, so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

³⁹ And they knew not till the flood came and took them all away: so also shall the coming of the Son of man be.

⁶⁴ Jesus saith to him: Thou hast said it. Nevertheless I say to you, hereafter you shall see the Son of man sitting on the right hand of the power of God and coming in the clouds of heaven.

²⁶ And then shall they see the Son of man coming in the clouds, with great power and glory.

²⁴ For as the lightning that lighteneth from under heaven shineth unto the parts that are under heaven, so shall the Son of man be in his day.

²² For these are the days of vengeance, that all things may be fulfilled, that are written.

²⁷ And then they shall see the Son of man coming in a cloud, with great power and majesty.

³⁴ And take heed to yourselves, lest perhaps your hearts be overcharged with surfeiting and drunkenness and the cares of this life: and that day come upon you suddenly. ³⁵ For as a snare shall it come upon all that sit upon the face of the whole earth. ³⁶ Watch ye, therefore, praying at all times, that you may be accounted worthy to escape all these things that are to come and to stand before the Son of man.

⁷ So that nothing is wanting to you in any grace, waiting for the manifestation of our Lord Jesus Christ.

⁷ And to you who are troubled, rest with us, when the Lord Jesus shall be revealed from heaven with the angels of his power:

⁷ That the trial of your faith (much more precious than gold which is tried by the fire) may be found unto praise and glory and honour at the appearing of Jesus Christ.

¹³ Wherefore, having the loins of your mind girt up, being sober, trust perfectly in the grace which is offered you in the revelation of Jesus Christ.

¹³ But if you partake of the sufferings of Christ, rejoice that, when his glory shall be revealed, you may also be glad with exceeding joy.

⁷ Behold, he cometh with the clouds, and every eye shall see him: and they also that pierced him. And all the tribes of the earth shall bewail themselves because of him. Even so. Amen.
