²⁷ And the Lord was with Josue, and his name was noised throughout all the land

² And the Lord was with him, and he was a prosperous man in all things: and he dwelt in his master's house: ³ Who knew very well that the Lord was with him, and made all that he did to prosper in his hand.

²¹ But the Lord was with Joseph, and having mercy upon him gave him favour in the sight of the chief keeper of the prison:

⁶ Do manfully and be of good heart: fear not, nor be ye dismayed at their sight: for the Lord thy God he himself is thy leader, and will not leave thee nor forsake thee.

³ But they that dwelt in Gabaon, hearing all that Josue had done to Jericho and Hai:

⁹ They answered: From a very far country thy servants are come in the name of the Lord thy God. For we have heard the fame of his power, all the things that he did in Egypt.

³⁰ Wherefore thus saith the Lord the God of Israel: I said indeed that thy house, and the house of thy father, should minister in my sight, for ever. But now saith the Lord: Far be this from me: but whosoever shall glorify me, him will I glorify: but they that despise me, shall be despised.

⁹ And I have been with thee wheresoever thou hast walked, and have slain all thy enemies from before thy face: and I have made thee a great man, like unto the name of the great ones that are on the earth.

²⁴ And his fame went throughout all Syria, and they presented to him all sick people that were taken with divers diseases and torments, and such as were possessed by devils, and lunatics, and those that had the palsy, and he cured them:

¹ At that time Herod the Tetrarch heard the fame of Jesus.

²⁰ For where there are two or three gathered together in my name, there am I in the midst of them.

²⁰ Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you. And behold I am with you all days, even to the consummation of the world.

⁹ And the Lord said to Paul in the night, by a vision: Do not fear, but speak. And hold not thy peace, ¹⁰ Because I am with thee and no man shall set upon thee, to hurt thee. For I have much people in this city.

¹⁷ But the Lord stood by me and strengthened me, that by me the preaching may be accomplished and that all the Gentiles may hear. And I was delivered out of the mouth of the lion.
