¹² But as many as received him, he gave them power to be made the sons of God, to them that believe in his name.

⁵ I will give to them in my house, and within my walls, a place, and a name better than sons and daughters: I will give them an everlasting name which shall never perish.

¹⁹ But I said: How shall I put thee among the children, and give thee a lovely land, the goodly inheritance of the armies of the Gentiles? And I said: Thou shalt call me father and shalt not cease to walk after me.

¹⁰ And the number of the children of Israel shall be as the sand of the sea, that is without measure, and shall not be numbered. And it shall be in the place where it shall be said to them: You are not my people: it shall be said to them: Ye are the sons of the living God.

⁴⁰ He that receiveth you, receiveth me: and he that receiveth me, receiveth him that sent me.

²¹ And in his name the Gentiles shall hope.

⁵ And he that shall receive one such little child in my name, receiveth me.

¹⁸ He that believeth in him is not judged. But he that doth not believe is already judged: because he believeth not in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

⁵² And not only for the nation, but to gather together in one the children of God that were dispersed.

¹⁷ Wherefore: Go out from among them and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing: ¹⁸ And I will receive you. And will be a Father to you: and you shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

²⁶ For you are all the children of God, by faith in Christ Jesus.

⁶ And because you are sons, God hath sent the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying: Abba, Father.

⁶ As therefore you have received Jesus Christ the Lord, walk ye in him:

⁴ By whom he hath given us most great and precious promises: that by these you may be made partakers of the divine nature: flying the corruption of that concupiscence which is in the world.

¹ Behold what manner of charity the Father hath bestowed upon us, that we should be called and should be the sons of God. Therefore the world knoweth not us, because it knew not him.

²³ And this is his commandment: That we should believe in the name of his Son Jesus Christ and love one another, as he hath given commandment unto us.

¹² He that hath the Son hath life. He that hath not the Son hath not life. ¹³ These things I write to you that you may know that you have eternal life: you who believe in the name of the Son of God.
