¹⁹ His seed shall not subsist, nor his offspring among his people, nor any remnants in his country.

¹⁹ A violent wind came on a sudden from the side of the desert, and shook the four corners of the house, and it fell upon thy children, and they are dead: and I alone have escaped to tell thee.

⁴ Although thy children have sinned against him, and he hath left them in the hand of their iniquity:

²⁶ All darkness is hid in his secret places: a fire that is not kindled shall devour him, he shall be afflicted when left in his tabernacle. ²⁷ The heavens shall reveal his iniquity, and the earth shall rise up against him. ²⁸ The offspring of his house shall be exposed, he shall be pulled down in the day of God's wrath.

¹⁴ If his sons be multiplied, they shall be for the sword, and his grandsons shall not be filled with bread. ¹⁵ They that shall remain of him, shall be buried in death, and his widows shall not weep.

¹³ And he had seven sons, and three daughters. ¹⁴ And he called the name of one Dies, and the name of the second Cassia, and the name of the third Cornustibii. ¹⁵ And there were not found in all the earth women so beautiful as the daughters of Job: and their father gave them inheritance among their brethren. ¹⁶ And Job lived after these things, a hundred and forty years, and he saw his children, and his children's children, unto the fourth generation,

¹³ May his posterity be cut off; in one generation may his name be blotted out.

⁸ Woe to you that join house to house and lay field to field, even to the end of the place: shall you alone dwell in the midst of the earth? ⁹ These things are in my ears, saith the Lord of hosts: Unless many great and fair houses shall become desolate, without an inhabitant.

²¹ Prepare his children for slaughter for the iniquity of their fathers: they shall not rise up, nor inherit the land, nor fill the face of the world with cities. ²² And I will rise up against them, saith the Lord of hosts: and I will destroy the name of Babylon, and the remains, and the bud, and the offspring, saith the Lord.

³⁰ Thus saith the Lord: Write this man barren, a man that shall not prosper in his days: for there shall not be a man of his seed that shall sit upon the throne of David, and have power any more in Juda.
