² In these days, hath spoken to us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the world.

¹ And Jacob called his sons, and said to them: Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you the things that shall befall you in the last days.

¹⁴ But yet going to my people, I will give thee counsel, what this people shall do to thy people in the latter days.

³⁰ After all the things aforesaid shall find thee, in the latter time thou shalt return to the Lord thy God, and shalt hear his voice.

¹⁵ The Lord thy God will raise up to thee a PROPHET of thy nation and of thy brethren like unto me: him thou shalt hear:

²⁹ For I know that, after my death, you will do wickedly, and will quickly turn aside form the way that I have commanded you: and evils shall come upon you in the latter times, when you shall do evil in the sight of the Lord, to provoke him by the works of your hands.

⁶ But I am appointed king by him over Sion, his holy mountain, preaching his commandment. ⁷ The Lord hath said to me: Thou art my son, this day have I begotten thee. ⁸ Ask of me, and I will give thee the Gentiles for thy inheritance, and the utmost parts of the earth for thy possession. ⁹ Thou shalt rule them with a rod of iron, and shalt break them in pieces like a potter's vessel.

²² The Lord possessed me in the beginning of his ways, before he made any thing from the beginning. ²³ I was set up from eternity, and of old, before the earth was made. ²⁴ The depths were not as yet, and I was already conceived, neither had the fountains of waters as yet sprung out. ²⁵ The mountains, with their huge bulk, had not as yet been established: before the hills, I was brought forth: ²⁶ He had not yet made the earth, nor the rivers, nor the poles of the world. ²⁷ When he prepared the heavens, I was present: when with a certain law, and compass, he enclosed the depths: ²⁸ When he established the sky above, and poised the fountains of waters: ²⁹ When he compassed the sea with its bounds, and set a law to the waters that they should not pass their limits: when he balanced the foundations of the earth; ³⁰ I was with him forming all things: and was delighted every day, playing before him at all times; ³¹ Playing in the world: and my delights were to be with the children of men.

² And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.

⁶ For a CHILD IS BORN to us, and a son is given to us, and the government is upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, God the Mighty, the Father of the world to come, the Prince of Peace. ⁷ His empire shall be multiplied, and there shall be no end of peace: he shall sit upon the throne of David, and upon his kingdom; to establish it and strengthen it with judgment and with justice, from henceforth and for ever: the zeal of the Lord of hosts will perform this.

²⁴ Thus saith the Lord thy redeemer, and thy maker, from the womb: I am the Lord, that make all things, that alone stretch out the heavens, that established the earth, and there is none with me.

¹² I made the earth: and I created man upon it: my hand stretched forth the heavens, and I have commanded all their host.

¹⁸ For thus saith the Lord that created the heavens, God himself that formed the earth, and made it, the very maker thereof: he did not create it in vain: he formed it to be inhabited. I am the Lord, and there is no other.

¹⁰ And the Lord was pleased to bruise him in infirmity: if he shall lay down his life for sin, he shall see a longlived seed, and the will of the Lord shall be prosperous in his hand. ¹¹ Because his soul hath laboured, he shall see and be filled: by his knowledge shall this my just servant justify many, and he shall bear their iniquities. ¹² Therefore will I distribute to him very many, and he shall divide the spoils of the strong, because he hath delivered his soul unto death, and was reputed with the wicked: and he hath borne the sins of many, and hath prayed for the transgressors.

²⁴ The Lord will not turn away the wrath of his indignation, till he have executed and performed the thought of his heart: in the latter days you shall understand these things.

⁴⁷ And I will bring back the captivity of Moab in the last days, saith the Lord. Hitherto the judgments of Moab.

¹⁶ And thou shalt come upon my people of Israel like a cloud, to cover the earth. Thou shalt be in the latter days, and I will bring thee upon my land: that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

²⁸ But there is a God in heaven that revealeth mysteries, who hath shewn to thee, O king Nabuchodonosor, what is to come to pass in the latter times. Thy dream, and the visions of thy head upon thy bed, are these:

¹⁴ But I am come to teach thee what things shall befall thy people in the latter days, for as yet the vision is for days.

⁵ And after this the children of Israel shall return and shall seek the Lord, their God, and David, their king: and they shall fear the Lord, and his goodness, in the last days.

¹ And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared in the top of the mountains, and high above the hills: and people shall flow to it.

¹⁷ And behold a voice from heaven saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased.

⁵ And as he was yet speaking, behold a bright cloud overshadowed them. And lo a voice out of the cloud, saying: This is my beloved Son, in whom I am well pleased: hear ye him.

³⁸ But the husbandmen seeing the son, said among themselves: This is the heir: come, let us kill him, and we shall have his inheritance.

⁶³ But Jesus held his peace. And the high priest said to him: I adjure thee by the living God, that thou tell us if thou be the Christ the Son of God.

¹⁸ And Jesus coming, spoke to them, saying: All power is given to me in heaven and in earth.

⁶ Therefore, having yet one son, most dear to him, he also sent him unto them last of all, saying: They will reverence my son.

³ All things were made by him: and without him was made nothing that was made.

¹⁴ And the Word was made flesh and dwelt among us (and we saw his glory, the glory as it were of the only begotten of the Father), full of grace and truth.

¹⁷ For the law was given by Moses: grace and truth came by Jesus Christ. ¹⁸ No man hath seen God at any time: the only begotten Son who is in the Bosom of the Father, he hath declared him.

¹⁶ For God so loved the world, as to give his only begotten Son: that whosoever believeth in him may not perish, but may have life everlasting.

²⁵ And there arose a question between some of John's disciples and the Jews, concerning purification.

³ Knowing that the Father had given him all things into his hands and that he came from God and goeth to God,

¹⁵ I will not now call you servants: for the servant knoweth not what his lord doth. But I have called you friends. because all things, whatsoever I have heard of my Father, I have made known to you.

¹⁵ All things whatsoever the Father hath are mine. Therefore I said that he shall receive of me and shew it to you.

² As thou hast given him power over all flesh, that he may give eternal life to all whom thou hast given him.

¹⁷ And it shall come to pass, in the last days, (saith the Lord), I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy: and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams.

³⁶ God sent the word to the children of Israel, preaching peace by Jesus Christ (He is Lord of all).

⁴ Who was predestinated the Son of God in power, according to the spirit of sanctification, by the resurrection of our Lord Jesus Christ from the dead:

¹⁷ And if sons, heirs also; heirs indeed of God and joint heirs with Christ: yet so, if we suffer with him, that we may be also glorified with him.

⁶ Yet to us there is but one God, the Father, of whom are all things, and we unto him: and one Lord Jesus Christ, by whom are all things, and we by him.

²⁵ For he must reign, until he hath put all his enemies under his feet. ²⁶ And the enemy, death, shall be destroyed last: For he hath put all things under his feet. And whereas he saith: ²⁷ All things are put under him; undoubtedly, he is excepted, who put all things under him.

⁴ But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent his Son, made of a woman, made under the law:

¹⁰ In the dispensation of the fulness of times, to re-establish all things in Christ, that are in heaven and on earth, in him.

²⁰ Which he wrought in Christ, raising him up from the dead and setting him on his right hand in the heavenly places. ²¹ Above all principality and power and virtue and dominion and every name that is named, not only in this world, but also in that which is to come. ²² And he hath subjected all things under his feet and hath made him head over all the church, ²³ Which is his body and the fulness of him who is filled all in all.

⁹ And to enlighten all men, that they may see what is the dispensation of the mystery which hath been hidden from eternity in God who created all things:

⁹ For which cause, God also hath exalted him and hath given him a name which is above all names: ¹⁰ That in the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of those that are in heaven, on earth, and under the earth: ¹¹ And that every tongue should confess that the Lord Jesus Christ is in the glory of God the Father.

¹⁶ For in him were all things created in heaven and on earth, visible and invisible, whether thrones, or dominations, or principalities, or powers. All things were created by him and in him. ¹⁷ And he is before all: and by him all things consist. ¹⁸ And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead, that in all things he may hold the primacy:

⁵ For to which of the angels hath he said at any time: Thou art my Son, to-day have I begotten thee? And again: I will be to him a Father, and he shall be to me a Son?

⁸ But to the Son: Thy throne, O God, is for ever and ever: a sceptre of justice is the sceptre of thy kingdom.

³ How shall we escape if we neglect so great salvation? Which, having begun to be declared by the Lord, was confirmed unto us by them that heard him.

⁸ Thou hast subjected all things under his feet. For in that he hath subjected all things to him he left nothing not subject to him. But now we see not as yet all things subject to him. ⁹ But we see Jesus, who was made a little lower than the angels, for the suffering of death, crowned with glory and honour: that, through the grace of God he might taste death for all.

⁸ And whereas indeed he was the Son of God, he learned obedience by the things which he suffered.

³ Without father, without mother, without genealogy, having neither beginning of days nor end of life, but likened unto the Son of God, continueth a priest for ever.

²⁶ For then he ought to have suffered often from the beginning of the world. But now once, at the end of ages, he hath appeared for the destruction of sin by the sacrifice of himself.

³ By faith we understand that the world was framed by the word of God: that from invisible things visible things might be made.

²⁰ Foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but manifested in the last times for you:

³ Knowing this first: That in the last days there shall come deceitful scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

¹⁸ Who told you that in the last time there should come mockers, walking according to their own desires in ungodlinesses.
