²⁸ Whither shall we go up? the messengers have terrified our hearts, saying: The multitude is very great, and taller than we: the cities are great, and walled up to the sky, we have seen the sons of the Enacims there.

¹⁰ The Emims first were the inhabitants thereof, a people great, and strong, and so tall, that like the race of the Enacims, ¹¹ They were esteemed as giants, and were like the sons of the Enacims. But the Moabites call them Emims.

¹⁰ And their prince shall triumph over kings, and princes shall be his laughingstock: and he shall laugh at every strong hold, and shall cast up a mount, and shall take it. ¹¹ Then shall his spirit be changed, and he shall pass, and fall: this is his strength of his god.
