¹ Know also this, that in the last days shall come dangerous times.

¹ And Jacob called his sons, and said to them: Gather yourselves together, that I may tell you the things that shall befall you in the last days.

² And in the last days the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared on the top of mountains, and it shall be exalted above the hills, and all nations shall flow unto it.

⁴⁷ And I will bring back the captivity of Moab in the last days, saith the Lord. Hitherto the judgments of Moab.

³⁹ But in the latter days I will cause the captives of Elam, to return, saith the Lord.

¹⁶ And thou shalt come upon my people of Israel like a cloud, to cover the earth. Thou shalt be in the latter days, and I will bring thee upon my land: that the nations may know me, when I shall be sanctified in thee, O Gog, before their eyes.

⁸ I considered the horns, and behold another little horn sprung out of the midst of them: and three of the first horns were plucked up at the presence thereof: and behold eyes like the eyes of a man were in this horn, and a mouth speaking great things.

²⁰ And concerning the ten horns that he had on his head: and concerning the other that came up, before which three horns fell: and of that horn that had eyes, and a mouth speaking great things, and was greater than the rest. ²¹ I beheld, and lo, that horn made war against the saints, and prevailed over them, ²² Till the ancient of days came and gave judgment to the saints of the most High, and the time came, and the saints obtained the kingdom. ²³ And thus he said: The fourth beast shall be the fourth kingdom upon earth, which shall be greater than all the kingdoms, and shall devour the whole earth, and shall tread it down, and break it in pieces. ²⁴ And the ten horns of the same kingdom, shall be ten kings: and another shall rise up after them, and he shall be mightier than the former, and he shall bring down three kings. ²⁵ And he shall speak words against the High One, and shall crush the saints of the most High: and he shall think himself able to change times and laws, and they shall be delivered into his hand until a time, and times, and half a time.

⁸ And the he goat became exceeding great: and when he was grown, the great horn was broken, and there came up four horns under it towards the four winds of heaven. ⁹ And out of one of them came forth a little horn: and it became great against the south, and against the east, and against the strength. ¹⁰ And it was magnified even unto the strength of heaven: and it threw down of the strength, and of the stars, and trod upon them. ¹¹ And it was magnified even to the prince of the strength: and it took away from him the continual sacrifice, and cast down the place of his sanctuary. ¹² And strength was given him against the continual sacrifice, because of sins: and truth shall be cast down on the ground, and he shall do and shall prosper. ¹³ And I heard one of the saints speaking, and one saint said to another I know not to whom, that was speaking: How long shall be the vision, concerning the continual sacrifice, and the sin of the desolation that is made: and the sanctuary, and the strength be trodden under foot? ¹⁴ And he said to him: Unto evening and morning two thousand three hundred days: and the sanctuary shall be cleansed.

¹⁴ But I am come to teach thee what things shall befall thy people in the latter days, for as yet the vision is for days.

³⁶ And the king shall do according to his will, and he shall be lifted up, and shall magnify himself against every god: and he shall speak great things against the God of gods, and shall prosper, till the wrath be accomplished. For the determination is made.

⁷ And I heard the man that was clothed in linen, that stood upon the waters of the river, when he had lifted up his right hand, and his left hand to heaven, and had sworn by him that liveth for ever, that it should be unto a time, and times, and half a time. And when the scattering of the band of the holy people shall be accomplished, all these things shall be finished.

¹¹ And from the time when the continual sacrifice shall be taken away, and the abomination unto desolation shall be set up, there shall be a thousand two hundred ninety days.

⁵ And after this the children of Israel shall return and shall seek the Lord, their God, and David, their king: and they shall fear the Lord, and his goodness, in the last days.

¹ And it shall come to pass in the last days, that the mountain of the house of the Lord shall be prepared in the top of the mountains, and high above the hills: and people shall flow to it.

³ Let no man deceive you by any means: for unless there come a revolt first, and the man of sin be revealed, the son of perdition ⁴ Who opposeth and is lifted up above all that is called God or that is worshipped, so that he sitteth in the temple of God, shewing himself as if he were God. ⁵ Remember you not that, when I was yet with you, I told you these things? ⁶ And now you know what withholdeth, that he may be revealed in his time. ⁷ For the mystery of iniquity already worketh: only that he who now holdeth do hold, until he be taken out of the way. ⁸ And then that wicked one shall be revealed: whom the Lord Jesus shall kill with the spirit of his mouth and shall destroy with the brightness of his coming: him ⁹ Whose coming is according to the working of Satan, in all power and signs and lying wonders: ¹⁰ And in all seduction of iniquity to them that perish: because they receive not the love of the truth, that they might be saved. ^{11 (2:10)} Therefore God shall send them the operation of error, to believe lying: ^{12 (2:11)} That all may be judged who have not believed the truth but have consented to iniquity.

¹ Now the Spirit manifestly saith that in the last times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to spirits of error and doctrines of devils, ² Speaking lies in hypocrisy and having their conscience seared, ³ Forbidding to marry, to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving by the faithful and by them that have known the truth.

³ For there shall be a time when they will not endure sound doctrine but, according to their own desires, they will heap to themselves teachers having itching ears:

³ Knowing this first: That in the last days there shall come deceitful scoffers, walking after their own lusts,

¹⁸ Little children, it is the last hour: and as you have heard that Antichrist cometh, even now there are become many Antichrists: whereby we know that it is the last hour.

¹⁷ But you, my dearly beloved, be mindful of the words which have been spoken before by the apostles of our Lord Jesus Christ:

¹ And when he had opened the seventh seal, there was silence in heaven, as it were for half an hour. ² And I saw seven angels standing in the presence of God: and there were given to them seven trumpets. ³ And another angel came and stood before the altar, having a golden censer: and there was given to him much incense, that he should offer of the prayers of all saints, upon the golden altar which is before the throne of God. ⁴ And the smoke of the incense of the prayers of the saints ascended up before God from the hand of the angel. ⁵ And the angel took the censer and filled it with the fire of the altar and cast it on the earth: and there were thunders and voices and lightnings and a great earthquake. ⁶ And the seven angels who had the seven trumpets prepared themselves to sound the trumpet. ⁷ And the first angel sounded the trumpet: and there followed hail and fire, mingled with blood: and it was cast on the earth. And the third part of the earth was burnt up: and the third part of the trees was burnt up: and all green grass was burnt up. ⁸ And the second angel sounded the trumpet: and, as it were, a great mountain, burning with fire, was cast into the sea. And the third part of the sea became blood. ⁹ And the third part of those creatures died which had life in the sea: and the third part of the ships was destroyed. ¹⁰ And the third angel sounded the trumpet: and a great star fell from heaven, burning as it were a torch. And it fell on the third part of the rivers and upon the fountains of waters: ¹¹ And the name of the star is called Wormwood. And the third part of the waters became wormwood. And many men died of the waters, because they were made bitter. ¹² And the fourth angel sounded the trumpet: and the third part of the sun was smitten, and the third part of the moon, and the third part of the stars, so that the third part of them was darkened. And the day did not shine for a third part of it: and the night in like manner. ¹³ And I beheld: and heard the voice of one eagle flying through the midst of heaven, saying with a loud voice: Woe, Woe, Woe to the inhabitants of the earth, by reason of the rest of the voices of the three angels, who are yet to sound the trumpet!
